I seriously can't find a release date anywhere and it's been out since August.
So... If anyone knows any information, let me know.

One of the best movies I've seen besides cloverfield, but I like ATU a little more!

Across the Universe was awesome. I saw it three times in theaters, and I'm ready to pay the $20 for the DVD and watch an infinite number of times.

Trust me you'll enjoy it!
I mean there are some scenes that are a little trippy, but that's the element of the movie it adds the "artistic" twist to it, along with a great love story/musical.

Not quite sure what you mean by that, but it's cool my opinion means something to someone.

I meant to see it but never did. I hope it will be good as an introduction to the music of the Beatles, because I don't know as much of it as I would like to.

It should be, I mean... No one can beat the Beatles, but the movie does an AMAZING job at remaking them (though not better), but it all depends on your liking of music...
I mean my sister doesn't like the beatles, but she likes the music from the movie (I lent her the soundtrack).
Let's just say they use the beatles' songs, but in a completely different way!
It's SOOOO good.
I recogmend it for any beatles fan or someone who hasn';t even heard of them.
At times it gets a bit wried, but a good weird.

It's a great movie!
A musical only using the Beatles... You can't get much better than that

It's a good movie, and I am considering buying it. It isn't earth-shatteringly good, but it is very entertaining. I may hold out and see if there is a director's cut, since I think that it may push it from 'good' to 'great,' since there's a lot of plotlines that would benefit from further exploration.

In my ears, while there are some good covers, some great ones, none of them really measure up to the originals. It may get you more into The Beatles, but just keep that in mind, if you aren't really turned on by them. I think only one is better than the original, and even then it isn't a full cover, and it isn't one of their better songs to begin with.
