Re: Favourite movie(s)

Star Wars are probably my favorites for sure.

I also recently saw all three Bourne movies, and I have to say, I loved em. I was in college when they came out I think, and so I never took the time to see them. Very well done indeed.

And of course who doesn't love Ground Hog Day. That's a classic.

'Gandhi'. What a pumping film. Full of busty babes, busty explosions and the lot.

But seriously, it is my favourite and for none of those reasons. I just found it so inspiring and wonderful especially seeing as though it's a true story I knew basically nothing of before watching it.

Re: Favourite movie(s)

I've been a Clint Eastwood fan since I was about fourteen. I was one to be immediately captivated by his "Man With No Name" Spaghetti Western trilogy, "Fist full of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", and "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". This trilogy is my vote for favorite movie(s) because I really can't say I have a favorite among those three.

High Plains Drifter and Outlaw Josey Wales were also pretty memorable watches by Eastwood.

Pulp Fiction, a classic.

Big Rocky fan.

I also loved Jackie Chan's Drunken Master movies, especially the second one (one of my favorite parts of The Forbidden Kingdom was the fact that he was basically returning to glory).

*vomits* God, too many crappy sequels on that list. Hook's a good choice, and though I'm not a fan of Iron Man, it was still a good movie.

My list:
Batman (1989 film) - I just love the comic book atmosphere coming from this movie. Keaton played the best live-action Batman I've seen, and Nicholson was the best live-action Joker ever, if not one of the best movie villains I've ever seen.

The Dark Knight - Seems that anything with the Joker in it gets my attention. I prefer the Tim Burton Batman over Christopher Nolan's more "realistic" Batman, but they're both good movies. Ledger's Joker was unique and interesting to watch, and while prefer Nicholson's Joker, Ledger came really close to his performance.

Aladdin - My personal favorite Disney film. Robin William's Genie was hilarious, and the rest of the movie was funny, emotional, and entertaining. It just satisfies me.

Back to the Future (all of them) - Mostly the first two, but it feels more complete with all 3 of them. Time travel stories can either be fun of confusing, and this movie was definitely the former. Watching how Marty reacts to how he effects the timeline is interesting to watch, and the movies had great moments between him and Doc Brown.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (original) - I hate the remake. It lacks all the charm that the original had. Even the creepy moments in the original are more charming and fun. The tunnel scene is one of the scariest things I've seen in a movie, and the remake blew it. I enjoyed the tunnel scene a lot despite how creepy it is, but the creepy moments in the remake are offsetting. And despite how I think Johnny Depp is a good actor, his Wonka was nowhere near as interesting and fun as Gene Wilder, who is a brilliant actor.

Young Frankenstein - Best spoof of the mad scientist movies from the black and white age. Gene Wilder once again is the crazy main character, but he pulls it off again. This movie has a lot of comedic moments and gags, such as the pronunciation of Frankenstein's name.

Star Trek 2-4 - KHANNN!!!

Now that that's out of my system, I must say I'm not much of a Trek fan. Seemed a little odd to me, and I couldn't get into it. But these 3 movies are great. 4, The Voyage Home, is my personal favorite, as we see the Enterprise crew outside of their element and interacting with average people. Hilarity ensues.

This list is getting long, so I'll just quickly list some more:
Star Wars: The Original Trilogy
Groundhog Day
Rocky 3
Spider-Man 2
The Princess Bride

Do you have to be insulting? I had only five sequels there, anyway, out of 13 movies. To me, that's not a lot.

Also, while I admit sequels tend to suck, there are still some that were awesome.

Still too many bad ones, though, like the Disney ones.
