I saw the the A&Es remake of The Andromeda Strain... Yeah I kinda... sorta... watched it illegally. Well its loosely based on the book, similar events and all but with major changes.

Still I thought it was amazing. I almost hate to say this, but I think it was actually better then the book itself. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book. Although I disliked the ending. The way Michael Crichton built up this tension.

Still its one of my favorite movies now...

So yeah...

Samurai Fiction is my new favorite movie ever. I'm not sure who it was by or when it was done (go IMDB it, then watch it), but it was a great movie. It was really funny, the fight scenes were fantastic, and the music was some of the best original songs I've heard in a movie soundtrack. Go watch it. Now.

Pulp Fiction is one of my favourite films of all time.

I love the way the story is told it's just so different to every other film out there. The way it's not told chronologically and how you've got several different storylines, that, at first areen't seemingly linked, really keeps you guessing until the end of the film. That's just brilliant.

Not to mention the somewhat morbid humour and Samuel L. Jackson's - for want of a better word - epic bible passage among other thing's making the whole thing awesome.

Fight Club
An amazingly well executed film. It was obvious there was going to be some sort of quirky plot twist at the end - but I never saw what actually happened coming. It was just superbly directed, and, as with all good films had a nice bit of humour, but not too much making it silly.

Shaun of the Dead
Probably my favourite comedy film of all time. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are just excellent together, and it's just a great parody of every Zombie film out there.

The first Matrix and team America were both pretty nifty too, although I wouldn't consider them on the same level as the previous three.
