TRON

With the wake of TRON Legacy on its way. I thought I'd make a thread about the original movie and see if there is anyone else here that is a fan.

I think it's one of the best movies. It''s not Star Wars status or anything, but it's an excellent sci fi adventure, and it's really cool to know it's by Disney. I still think the special effects are ahead of its time. It's got a really cool feeling to it.

I am excited for the sequel, but I'm afraid they're going to ruin it with focusing on some random young actor rather then Jeff Bridges. We'll have to wait and see.

I saw this when I was 9. One of the most influential movies of all time. I loved it. Absolutely incredible.

I have never seen it. What is it about, if you don't mind me asking?

I loved TRON. I can't wait for the sequel, especially with Daft Punk doing the score and the writers of LOST writing it.

It's a Disney movie (but with live action) set in the future, with state of the art graphics *Sarcasm*. Although, the graphics were waaaay better than what anyone else had at the time. It's a good movie. It didn't do very well in the box office simply because it was ahead of it's time. Anyway, onto the plot. A programmer gets sucked into a gladiator-esque cyber world and has to both try to escape and help this program named TRON defeat the big bad Master Control Program.
