Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season

Probably accurate. I know Shula has the most wins of any coach, but he coached more teams than just Miami.

Point being, Super Bowl wins aren't everything....especially since the league formed in 1919, became the NFL in 1921, and Super Bowls didn't start until the 1966/1967 season, and the leage merger between NFL and AFL (now AFC) didn't happen until 1970.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season

Ranil is the typical steelers fan I hate. They are all so stubborn. How in the hell can the steelers pull so many games out of their ass. And they play in a weak division. Browns/Bungles auto wins, and they usually win at least once from the ravens. The team is just so God damn lucky. It has to catch up with them eventually.

They can't run the ball, and they don't have Polamalu (lol madden curse) for the next few weeks. They could lose this weekend, and maybe even lose a few more.

Anywho, I'm a chiefs fan, and I'm surprised that they were able to hold their own with the ravens for as long as they did. KC GO CHIEFS!

In other nfl news I won my fantasy league game by 30 points. I'm hoping to get off ot a better start this season after starting 0 and 6 last year. I don't want to have to win 8 in a row again and make playoffs.

This week I'm actually cheering for the Steelers. I want to see Jay Cutler break down and cry.

I wouldn't mind seeing him cry either, it is just really hard for me to root for the steelers. I live in an area where there are a lot of them, and they never shut up. It just really bites.

How 'bout them Jets?

As a Jets fan, I'm really feeling Sanchez as our quarterback, but I'm very upset with Rhodes for what he said. Don't get me wrong, I dislike the Patriots as much as any Jets fan, but what he said made us look weak and will give Brady more reason to try to win on Sunday.

Sounds more like a personal issue.

Yeah there are tons around here too. I think the fans are the #1 reason i hate the Steelers so much. They all talk a lot of trash.

How do you know what I know? I have a stepfather who is VERY knowledgable about the NFL entirely, let alone just the Steelers. Everything I know I learned from him. I also used to play NFL Blitz on the N64 with my stepbrothers a lot, who also knew a good bit about the NFL.

You don't have a right to tell me how much I know. I've been a fan of both the Steelers and the Dolphins for years. Having played NFL Blitz back in the good old days pretty much proves it too, since that's where I started being a fan in the first place. Oh yeah, have you forgotten that I'm actually FROM Pittsburgh too?

And I am not dissing Pittsburgh by saying I dislike bandwagoners, its just that there are a lot of Pittsburgh bandwagoners here as opposed to New England bandwagoners when they won a long stretch of Super Bowls.
I see. Fine by me.

No offence (but I am sure you will take this offensive anyways) but a lot of girls that do watch football know barely anything about the game.
Me take that as offensive? Heck, I actually agree with you that many girls who watch football know little about it. I'm not one of them however, seeing as I have more than one family member who knows a good bit. I forgot to mention my real dad also watches the NFL and probably knows a lot himself.

Do you really have to specify that they're bandwagoners? The Patriots did not have a fanbase until 2001.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season

Why do people dislike Jay Culter so much? He was just looking out for his job when he said he wanted a trade. I don't blame him for doing what he did.

But... 4 interceptions really has knocked down a lot of his confidence, I hope he has a bounce-back week of at least 2 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Also, I saw the New England jerseys pop up in their undefeated run to the Super Bowl. I laughed when the bangwagoners weren't wearing their New England jersies, and some of the real fans still did.

Wow Sanchez is getting his as kissed this early in his career, is it because of one average game and one good one? or is it because he comes from the University of Spoiled Children?

That is not an undefeated season, by definition you must win ALL your games, they lost the big one, so no they didnt go undefeated.

Only one team can make that claim.

When Shanahan was fired he *****ed about how he wasn't notified.

When his quarterback coach was fired he asked to be traded.

When Mc Daniels listened to trade offers for Cutler he asked to be traded again.

Add to that his inconsistency and overall childish behavior and you get your reason.

I rooted for him before because he was the starting quarterback for my favorite team but didn't think of him as the best thing since sliced bread as the "experts" seem to and said from the very beginning that benching and trading Plummer in favor of Cutler was a mistake.
