I am a Jaguars fan (damn them, so close to beating those Colts) I expect a 8-8 season or better out of them. I have to congratulate the young offensive line and our defense Could've had the extra 2 picks though.Oh yeah and if the Steelers win the superbowl this year I might die from Pittsburgh bandwagoners... |

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
I Black-Mamba style, I will list the Good, Bad, and Ugly for my team.
The Good: Dom Capers new system makes us turnover central on Defense. Also, apparently injury central, as we knocked out two starting LBs for the Bears. The Bad: I think our receiver corps had like 6 or 7 drops. Rodgers still makes bad decisions with his feet sometimes (the safety). Looked like Woodson and Collins had some communication issues in the secondary, especially on the Hester TD. The Ugly: Our new starting RT is going to get Aaron Rodgers killed if he doesn't start blocking.

And so far I'm getting more and more impressed with the Raiders.

If the Steelers win again this year, that'll be amazing. It'd be their third two-Super Bowls-in-a-row achievement!

Buffalo happened, I dont know if it has more to do with the insane amount of luck the Patsies get, or that the Bills are the greatest choke artists in the history of professional sports.

Raiders played a good game but the Chargers came back and won it. I dunno, I feel like the Raiders and Bills should've won yesterday.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Both teams just aren't ready for the big time. These are organizations that are showing improvment, but still have a long time to go before they can be considered high tier competitors.
And really, they both suffer from similar issues; undisciplined penalities and poor organizations. It's made me sick listening to Jauron all day as he tries to explain what happened last night. The guy has no emotion, no charisma whatsoever, he's as dull as dirt. And I'm all for having your players' backs, but you just can't sit there and defend McKelvin. Energy in the middle of the game does not excuse recklessness of that nature. ****, why did I have to be born in Buffalo? |

And I am not dissing Pittsburgh by saying I dislike bandwagoners, its just that there are a lot of Pittsburgh bandwagoners here as opposed to New England bandwagoners when they won a long stretch of Super Bowls. No offence (but I am sure you will take this offensive anyways) but a lot of girls that do watch football know barely anything about the game. |

Let's count championships...oh yeah, Green Bay is the best. Let's count win percentage, I believe that'd be Dallas. Just because Pit won 6 Super Bowls doesn't mean they're the best team ever. The NFL was around for 48 years before the Super Bowl was invented.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Quick question Ranil. Which team or teams are undefeated in Super Bowl appearances? As in, every time they've made it to the Super Bowl they've won it. Obviously we aren't counting teams which have only made the Super Bowl once.
HINT (cuz I'm such a nice guy): It rhymes with Ban Blasdisco

I don't think there has ever been or will ever be a team with two quarterbacks that epic in a row.

In my 1 year living in Buffalo, I have never heard of such acts being committed to a player's house.
