Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Eh I like Oakland's fans. They're the most European style fans in the league.
![]() edit: Didn't see this the first time through: No I facepalmed because you seem to bandwagon anyone remotely good.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Warner didn't look like an idiot at all. It was a great pressure play by the defense. And quite frankly, his arm was going forward. The fact that the play didn't get reviewed is mind-blowing to me. It was a forward pass, not a fumble.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
I was a bit nervous after the Vikings' first half performance against the Browns, but they really got their act together in the second.
Brett Favre played exactly the kind of game we need from him, which is to say efficient and turnover free. The line needs to protect him better; his arm looks fine--it's his step that he lost. I'm excited about Percy Harvin. He showed some flashes this week. He demonstrated his supposed dynamism by carrying the ball for first down yardage twice and returning kicks. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-cant-m...l-day-Peterson And what more can be said about Adrian Peterson? Though blocking was sub-par for most of the game, he bruised forward for a tough 116 before ripping an incredible 64 yard gallop TD that sealed the game. Sometimes I am uncomfortable with the amount of hype and exposure he receives, but the unequivocal truth is that he deserves every bit of it. He earns his keep week in and week out. Granted, this was only the Browns and this team clearly needs to gel if it is going to be a legitimate super bowl contender, but this was a good start. The Vikings are exciting again! Breakdown: The Good; Favre, Harvin, Peterson, defense The Bad; O-line play, punt return coverage (just as bad as last year) The ugly; onside kick attempt. Trying to catch the opposing team asleep on the first play of the season? Seriously?

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Ah today is going to be fun. Bills vs. Patriots, being in Buffalo for the duration of the season it's obligatory I go Bills in this game or I'll get lynched haha. As for the Chargers vs. Raiders game well. Other than Asomugha and Seymour I'm not expecting anything good from the Raiders. Most likely a moderately easy Chargers win.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Hey Bears fans, how's your "franchise quarterback" XD.
That was just classic Cutler (1 mistake becoming many because of his inability to rebound, he's like a gambler chasing the money he's lost by losing more), I look forward to watching him stare down Bennett and Hester all season long. As for the Broncos game I'm impressed with the defense which kept them in the game, but really disappointed with the offense. So yeah, lucky win. But a win's a win. Also Urlacher is gone for the year apparently... |

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
That's not foolish. People obviously got hurt in that scene. I don't remember any injuries in the Warner incident.

Aw, that's a bummer, RewyRew. D:
Who are your teams? 'Tis the Steelers (cause I come from Pittsburgh), and the Dolphins for me. The Dolphins haven't done so great themselves lately though. >_<
