Wow. Weak call already. Obvious fumble by Grant.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Looks like Favre just had a senior moment . . . big props to the D for holding them to a FG.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
I have to agree with the comment that Packer fans are treating this "betrayal" too seriously. I mean, they should want Favre to play badly as he is the quarterback of their division opponent, but they shouldn't hate him because he "betrayed" them. Give me a break, he's just playing the game he loves.
As for the Broncos, they sucked today plain and simple. The offense was lucky to get 1 TD, Mitch Berger is even worse than Kern was and the defense was decent at best, I knew they had to lose eventually but hopefully they regroup next week against the Steelers. |

Yeah. I was surprised to see Denver lose badly. Still, they've been a nice surprise this year so far.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
Titans WON!!!!! YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Vince Young put up a spectacular performance. A modest 125 yds and 1 TD, but going 15/18 and a 114 passer rating. Gotta love Bud Adams for requesting for the switch. And Chris Johnson OMG smoked up fantasy. That guy simply electrifies the field every time he touches the ball. Still, we're 1-6, but a great win like that is exactly what we needed to inject confidence into this team. Wow, the Giants. Third straight loss. So when you talk about the Giants, are you going to regard as a team that started 5-0 or a team that lost three straight games?

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
![]() Did you ever think you'd see this? Favre's play against his old team has been really incredible when you think about it. 7 TDs, no INTs, no sacks. I have to admit that this game turned out closer than I had hoped. These defensive collapses are a disturbing, and rather inexplicable, trend. The Vikings were lucky their offense didn't let up. I was very impressed with how they responded to adversity and converted when things appeared to be falling apart. At one point, the game was 24-3. Not long after, it 24-20 and Green Bay had all of the momentum. Previous Viking teams would have crumbled for sure. It'll be nice to have a bye week relatively late in the season. Hopefully we can get Antione Winfield back as soon as possible because Karl Paymah just doesn't cut it.

Re: NFL 2009/2010 Season
The Vikes are the better, more physically dominant, and more complete team.
Green Bay put up a fight, but there's no doubt in my mind that the better team won. Congrats to Favre, no hard feelings here. Come December/January I'll be rooting for Green Bay first, New Orleans second, and then the Vikings...even though I've hated them for years.

And until today, the Packers looked like an upper tier team. To my surprise, they were a popular pick to win the division, or even the NFC, before the year started (which I didn't understand, but then again I'm not an "expert" and "unbiased" analyst like the media types). The fact is, Packer fans have been spoiled for much of the last two decades, mostly because Favre made them a contender no matter who the other guys were. I myself was probably a spoiled fan from '98-'00 when the Vikings went 15-1, 10-6, and 11-5. I think the Packers' main problem is that they really haven't drafted too well or made impact FA signings (aside from Charles Woodson).

NFL.com mainpage has reported that the Chiefs have cut Larry Johnson.
No link yet (other than NFL.com ) as it's just a banner, and not an article yet.
