favorite harry potter book

im surprised that this hasnt been done yet. so, whats your favorite harry potter book? mine is definantly the prisoner of azkaban! its incredible. and its my favorite movie so far. and this is a little off topic but, im seeing the 12 o clock show for harry potter 6 tomorrow!

I liked the third one best, as well. Pretty much everything you said.

well, when i said im seeing it tomorrow i meant like, well, yeah. it comes out wednesday. were in the same timezone. personally i didnt really like the 6th book all that much. you?

I like them all, but I would say Order of the Phoenix.

The third and the sixth ones are the best in my opinion. Some kind of intrigue kept me reading in those books.

Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows are my favourites, with Chamber of Secrets coming in third. I voted DH on the poll though.

for the whole series the best chapter is battle at hogwarts in the 7th. but it really sucked that that either fred or george dies. i foget which one.

Harry Potter 2

It USED to be Order of the Phoenix when I read the first six books.

Once I got around to re-reading the first six, I found that Half-Blood Prince was my favorite. I was also quite pleased to find that HBP is also the best movie in the series so far as well.

Sadly though, as well-written as Deathly Hallows was, some parts of it kind of lost the magic. I dunno, the final act in the great hall just rang hollow(no pun intended) and even cliche. Don't get me wrong, there were many parts of the book I thoroughly enjoyed, but there were also a handful of parts that made me kind of groan, like how they spend a good portion of the book finding horcruxes, and knock out two within one chapter, and things like that which added up.

deathly hallows, great book. as i grew up with the HP books, they got better and better as i could understand everything.

I feel that Deathly Hallows is the best book. It's by far the best as far as surprises and unexpected turns.

Deathly Hallows, just a great book in general. Least Favorite is the first one.

This. I remember when I read the book... I was at summer camp for two weeks, but like three people in my cabin had it with them. I borrowed it whenever I could, and got about halfway through it. On the last night, the cabin leader lent me his book and gave me permission to stay up as late as I want. I fell asleep at like three in the morning, an hour after I finished the book. I just laid there and thunk for an hour. XD Heh.

Then the next morning my aunt came and game me the copy she had reserved for me. I didn't tell her I had finished reading it a few hours before.


My least favorite is the fifth. A few months ago I reread the series, and I didn't even finish it. I just skipped to HBP.

The fourth has the best story line, is well written, and harry doesn't go angst on us every five seconds
