Pokemon Cards

I'm no good at the Pokemon trading card game, but I enjoy collecting the cards as a hobby! ^^

Who else collects them or plays the trading card game? I've got a pretty good bunch of rare/valuable cards in my collection. I have hundreds of them right now, though at least 50% of those are most likely trainers, stadiums, supporters, and energies. XD

Here are the cards I consider my best or favorite. :]



Two level X/ex legendaries. Those are probably some of the rarest cards that come. xP

(I have more rare cards than this, btw)

I don't collect anymore. I havn't for 5 or 6 years. But i still have them. My favourites are my Charizard (i have the first version of the charizard card ), my Espeon, and my Typhlosion.
I'll do some searching later to find pictures.

I only recognize Charizard, Blastoise and Mew. This makes me feel old.

But no I've never collected the cards, only the games.

Same. My favorites were my Blaine's Arcanine, my Shiny Charizard, my Ancient Mew, and some others which I'm too lazy to list.

That's right.

I've heard about that Ancient Mew card. Never had one before though.

Oh, and I forgot to mention one thing about the Giratina card. Mine has the word Platinum on it, so imagine the one in my image being like that and you've got my card. xP

To get it you had to be one of the cool kids, like me, who went to see the first Pokemon movie in theatres.

What? We went to see it too. What we got was a Mewtwo card that me and my stepbrothers all wanted, but my stepdad didn't give it to any of us because he expected the fighting. XD

I still have Pokemon cards kicking around in my house. I used to be really big on fire types, so I had a lot. I have Typholsion, Arcanine, Ninetales, etc. I think I had a lot, if not all, of Blaine's cards.

I bought a whole new starter deck though, not too long ago, and played a few rounds with a friend of mine. I still love it, and would still totally battle anyone who wanted to.

O yeah, that mew is awesome. I have it too. You sure it was the first movie? From the top of my head it was the second one.

It might have been Pokemon 2000...but I could have sworn it was the first Pokemon movie. And they gave me and my brother each one.

Oh yeah, I just remembered. I have the Feraligatr evolution line too. That means I have half of all the starter evolution lines. :3

Forte: Ah, I see. I don't think we saw that in theaters, we saw it somewhere else. XD

I still have all my old cards lying around somewhere.
Of course, I haven't touched them in years and years.
I remember having a shiny Vaporeon, though. And that funky Mew card.

I'm pretty sure it was 2000. Those two are the only ones I saw in theaters back then, and I remember something about them giving the Mew card away that didn't make sense. It's probably because they did it with the second movie and not the first.

EDIT: Actually, I remember getting some sort of Pikachu card that had the WB logo and the title of 2000 on it, so never mind, the Mew card must have been the first.

No, the Mew card was the 2nd movie.
I dug up the Pikachu card (which was conveniently sitting in a pile on my bookshelf among lots of junk) and this is it-- it says "The First Movie" on it (not that my webcam helps much with that). I know each event only had one.

No, I'm pretty sure it was pokemon 2000, I just remembered you actually see the mew card in the end of the movie.

Last card I recieved was from Pokémon 2000 and I still have it along with my little collection.
I remember someone stabbed another person for a pkmn card. I remember seeing that on the news.
