The Great Pirate Escapade

Alright, everyone, gather round! The campfire's hot, the moon is up, and the time is ripe for a good story! Now, I have no idea if this is gonna work. People might just ignore this or it'll get locked, but I've gotta try nonetheless. I'm attempting to make a "continue the story" thread (I have no idea if these are forbidden or anything, so be forgiving if they are), which is not to be confused with rpg. It's open to everyone and anything, given that you follow two simple rules:

1) You continue the story from the last post

and

2) You don't post twice in a row

So, here's how it starts:

It was a dark and stormy night on the sea when the pirate captain Hogswallow decided to raid the great merchant ship, Sea Streamer.

"Move yer lazy feet, ya swabbies!" The captain yelled at his crew. "If we loose er' yer all gonna pay a hefty price!" He spat into the foamy water, ignoring the cold sea water that splashed over the bow and into his face. With a scowl on his face, he glared at the brightly lit ship ahead, sizing it up in his mind.

Aye, she's grand all right. No doubt there'll be gaurds and plenty o' cannons, but I haven't come this far to run like a coward! This is going to be one easy--Great Scott, what is THAT?

Here's the deal: PM or otherwise message one of the mods for the writing board. That's where this type of thread would go, if it were to be allowed. But it's going to be up to them to decide if it is a good idea or not.

So do that, and if they give the go-ahead give this a shot in the writing boards.
