Star Wars Legacy: A Solo goes baaaaaad! *SPOILER warning!*

Warning, spoilers for those of you who haven't read the sieries.
Hey, I was wondering, has anybody else been reading the Star Wars Legacy series? I think its a great one, and that it totally surpassed the New Jedi Order in how good it is. I felt the NJO series went on way too long and I couldn't figure out what was happening after the midway point of that one. In this one, Jacen goes bad and is now a Sith, Corellia starts a new civil war, Boba Fett's grandaughter shows up and Han and Leia are now fugitives. I've been ensnared in the whole series, and in a few days the last book Invincible comes out. Anybody else planning on buying it?

At any rate, I gave up after reading book three - I got sick of Jacen and I felt the rest would be more of the same: Jacen kills peeps.

EDIT: One more thing. Darth Phoenix, people might take this thread more seriously if the title was not so...immature sounding? I'm not saying it is, but 'baaaaaaaaad' is incredibly informal and brings down the credibility of said thread.

The only reason I posted here was to vent and say I was extremely happy about what happened in the spoiler box above.

Yeah, you're right about the title. Sorry about that. I was worn out and tired last night when I came up with the thread. Cant' seem to change it now though.

Anyways, Jacen hasn't really gone around killing a crap load of people in each book, but he's gotten definitely darker and turning into his grandfather.

Not only did he kill Mara, he's kidnapped his daughter and tortured Ben. He pulled a DV and snapped one of his officer's neck in full view of his star destroyer staff, and tossed her across the bridge. Definitely living up to his Darth Caedus name.

^ Actually, it hasn't happened yet; I'm guessing that what you've seen are currently just rumours, or possibly leaked info. I don't think the last book is out quite yet.

Actually, it was the captain of the Star Destroyer that got tossed around the bridge, not poor Lieutenant Tebut. She just had her neck snapped.

Anyways, the parts of the current series I've been enjoying most are the section from Fett's PoV. He's fun. ^_^

Heh, either way, he killed her. I kind of get confused at times, I mean, I had started reading the NJO series, but that was way too long and I lost track of what was going on so some of what they talk about in Legacy goes over my head. The Jacen I knew was the goofy jokester who talked to animals in Young Jedi Knights. Wow how he's changed.

The whole Jacen plotline in the NJO books are kinda important for Legacy of the Force, so you may want to go back and re-read them. Oh, and the Swarm War trilogy is important for Alema's part in LotF, so you'll want to read those three as well.

I had tried reading them, but the NJO gets too long and too complicated with all the weird insights into the Force that Jacen finds during the whole thing where he was with Vergere. I just read the first one, some in the middle and the last one. I never did get a chance to finish the Dark nest trilogy though :-/
So, has anybody gone and gotten Invincible yet? I read online rumor has it a major character (other than Jacen, he's a given) is gonna die.
(And could a mod shorten that bad down to 1 a?)
