Starship Troopers, and should be done with it sometime this week.

If you don't know, by the way, it's about a billion times better than the movie.

The movie scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me when I was young.

The book is amazing. Read it in a day.

I'm reading a few works of H.P. Lovecraft atm.

Re: What book are you reading?

After a brief light-reading break, I'm back into actual novels now.

So I started The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski, which is I guess about a mute guy and his dog(s), and it also seems to Hamlet. Only a little bit in, but I quite enjoy it already.

I'm actually wanting to big up Gravity's Rainbow again. I never have the time for it, though.

Re: What book are you reading?

Just finished The Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb. Not a bad book, but not as good as I remember her other fantasy books to be.

About to start Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep.

While I would agree that its a well written book, I really hate the characters. I mean REALLY hate them.

Re: What book are you reading?

The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass (after a year of looking for it!!!)

The mythology that Stephen King is very original and interesting, but sometimes too similar to his other works, in my opinions...

Edit: Ok, i've finished it. Right now: The Lost Symbol

Re: What book are you reading?

Recently, I've been going through a tome I picked up at random called the Crimson Petal and the White, written by a chap named Michel Faber. It's set in the chill of Vicotrian England, and so far, it stars a young and brilliant whore and one of her borderline well-to-do customers. It took a while to get the two to meet, but the storytelling and worldbuilding are ace, so the slow pace isn't a bother.

Re: What book are you reading?

I'm currently reading "The seventh Tower" series by Garth Nix. It's awesome. Can't wait to get the next bit. I've only read the first book, but as with any good series book, I want more
