I only had several issues. I liked the classic ones back in the 80s and 90s (my cousin has some). They were more social, say, with movies and other outdoor stuff. Now, it's JUST video games. Sad.
Here's something for you mature fans:
Gametrailers.com - ScrewAttack - Angry Video Game Nerd: Nintendo Power

What exactly is the point of this thread?

Yeah, I've been subscribed since before I was born. My parents signed up to it and I've been getting it ever since.

Urgh..... Nope! I've never subscribed to a magazine in my life, but I did think about subscribing to Official Nintendo Mag when I was younger.

I own one issue of a Nintendo magazine ( I think its N Power) but from the SNES generation. My dad bought it for me when I got into OoT and N64 from... I can't remember where but it was already a few years old. I still liked reading it though.

But yeah,... I wish they would sell Nintendo power where I live. Maybe they do... I just haven't really seen any.,.. i've seen some befure

I get it just because its cheap. 95% of the time the information is old news (as with any magazine since the days of the internet). They stopped the $1 an issue promo but then they lowered the subscription to $20, so I stayed on board. I have been getting the magazine for a while now. The first issue I have has Star Wars Rouge Squadron on the cover but I dunno what #.

I usually pick it up at my local library to check out whats in it, but I haven't subscribed to it. If you ask me, its nothing but full of corporate kissing of N's butt. They rarely if ever say anything bad about any of the games in the reviews, and they always act as if the new Barbie game is the second coming or something. Yeah, I know they're a magazine made by Nintendo, but they should be a little less biased.

The only thing I hate about the magazine is the reviews. They always tend to overrate games.

I also dislike the massive Nintendo fanboyism. I know its "Nintendo Power" but I'm sick of them praising the Wii at every oppurtiny.

You forgot the DS. Oh, but I still like to read it. Oh, and which do you like better, the Future US mags, or the older ones? I liked the older ones

Not to mention that everyone who works there appears to be a casual gamer, since there always talking about how "great the Wii is since its attracting casual gamers".

I am not subscribed to Nintendo Power, nor have I ever been subscribed to it, but I read it every once in a while in stores and I think that it is a good videogame magazine to read because it is full of news and helpful advice and other stuff in it. And I also like it because I think that Nintendo is one of the best videogame companies at making good games.

I used to subscribe back in the day. I still have the very first issue of Nintendo Power. I've even got the Nintendo Fun Club News they published before creating Nintendo Power!
