Aurthur C. Clarke is dead
I don't know if this is the right place to post it, so it if isn't, please move it.
Anyway, the greatest sci-fi author of all time passed away. Aurthur C. Clarke dies at age 90 I knew most of you probably do not know who this is, but he is considered the father of the telecomunications satilite, and also the author of the books "2001: A Space Odessey" and "Childhood's End" just to name a few. alas, another great one is dead.

I've never read many of his books, but I do know he was instrumental in making Sci-Fi what it is today.
The Sci-Fi community just lost one of its greatest writers. May he rest in peace.
