Those games without controllers

I just felt like making a thread, and the first thing I thought of was card/board games. We all play them, but which ones do we play most? Which ones are our favorites?

Personally, I like Risk, Pinochle, Monopoly, Uno, Gin/Rummy, and a game called nuts which can basically be described as solitare meets speed meets team game.

So, what games does the rest of ZU play?

I love Apples to Apples. I played that once while on a group date, lol, it was hilarous. xD

I also like to play Monoploy, Uno and best of all, Dutch Blitz.

Epic points for anyone here who has played Dutch Blitz.

Oh man, I completely forgot about Apples to Apples xD such a great game!

Hahaha Dutch Blitz is incredible. my family goes nuts over that game.
Have you ever played human Dutch Blitz? It's the same game, but with 'cards' that are like one foot big. You play it in a gym or something like that. It's awesome

I haven't played human Dutch Blitz before, no (nor have I heard of it). I'm crazy fast with the normal sized ones though. At Youth Rallies, we all gather together (get eight decks, and two players to each deck, totalling sixteen of us) and have a load of fun. It's awesome.

I also like to play Clue, and Life.

I've never been in to board games for one reason or another. Card games, on the other hand, are a different matter entirely.

I love playing poker. A great combination of skill, luck and bluffing. Also, some cash here and there makes the game that bit more interesting.

The only board game I've been known to play every not-so-often-but-sometimes-occasionally-sort-of is chess -- at least, these days. When I was younger, I used to play frequently. In fact, I remember entering a chess tournament when I was a child for my school. It was some sort of international competition. I forget. I won 3rd out of 100 or something.

I love those games too. also pictionary, yahtzee, spades and euchre.

I think this thread would get more exposure in the GCC area because a lt of people don't even notice this section- it's kinda buried...
