I pick the Giants. They are the underdogs, and usually when the underdogs win one tough game in the playoffs they go on to win the championship (2005 Pittsburgh Steelers, 2003 Florida Marlins, etc.)

Also, the Patriots cheated. And so, order will be restored when that perfect record is shattered by the last game of the season.

GO PATS GO! They can't help their amazingness.

Rooting for the Giants in New England is considered sacrelige, even moreso than rooting for the Yankees. But that's because they're the best team in years (although their offense hasn't been too record-breaking) and stuff. It would be a sick twist of fate if they lost this far in, but I'm still rooting for them.

Go Patriots <3

I'm rooting for the Giants simply because the Patriots and their fans need their inflated egos bruised. Plus, I'm still pretty butthurt about them beating us in the Superbowl back in 2001.

I wanted Green Bay in the Super Bowl, but Giants beat them. Therefore I'm anti-Giants not pro-Patriots.

Also, being a Bills fan, I am required by law to hate both teams. But since I know more moronic bandwagon Pats fans than anyone else, I'm hoping they lose.

Why isn't there an option inthe poll for neither? I don't really like any of your sports. (Why do you call it "football" when you don't use your feet for anything but running?)

You say a kicker?

Wow, I'm so impressed...

I can think of two types of football which are more accurate to call them football: Soccer (duh; the only things you are allowed to use are your feet) and Aussie Rules (Using your feet is about one third of the game, and the only way to score a goal - see the wiki "Australian Rules Football" for more info - is to kick the ball in, and anybody is allowed to kick it).

And hey, that's not even MENTIONING the punter!

Just kidding, I prefer soccer anyway. I have no clue why it's called football. Just the ol' American spirit of pissing everone else off, I suppose!

Being a Pats fan, you can guess who I'm voting for. They need to make up for getting beat back in 2007 by the Colts. Or whoever. I forgot.

Welker is a slot WR and nothing more, he's not great by any means.
Hell If I lined up across from Moss and has Brady throwing to me, I'd have 103catches too.

I really cant stand the Patriots and their bandwagoning fans, who have become arrogant as all hell.
They were non exisstant 8+ years ago when the Pats were a joke.

The Giants are on fire right now, Eli Manning has played well(This coming from a "hater" of his). I do want Strahan to get his ring though.

I'm rooting for the Pats.
I don't like either team, but I HATE Eli Manning, and I LOVE Wes Welker, so the Pats get my love in this game. Though it's like choosing between the lesser of two evils :/
Why oh why did my Packers have to choke?

112 catches actually. And Wes is better than just a slot WR seeing as he managed to beat out Daunte Stallworth for the starting job and Stallworth was a top 10 draft pick with a 4.26 in the 40 yard dash. Wes makes things happen.

Yesh he's clutch but he's not an elite WR by any means, I liked him when he was here in Miami but at least I know what his limits are.
If he really was as good as ESPN makes him out to be then he would be a stud on any team. But the fact is he wouldnt help out the Dolphins any if he was still there.

And If they lose? will they still be called a great team? Or the greatest chokejob of a team?
The Superbowl is not a lock for them by any means.

Well, there's no doubt that Wes is not a complete receiver. Being 5 foot 9 pretty much dooms you to spending a lot of time in the slot...unless you're Steve Smith

The Patriots are going to win. The Giants might make it close, but seriously... the Patriots have been destined to become undefeated ever since they snuck out from the game against the Ravens alive.

Heh, they've been destined to be dominant since they signed Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Dante Stallworth, Kyle Brady, AND Adalius Thomas in free agency. That's just unreal
