i love the card game i have millions of card, have almost every game have 4 movies wathched 6 movies love the TV and know pretty much everything there is to know about pokemon.

There's already a Pokemon game thread in the gaming section.

The anime is terrible although that can also be discussed in another section.

The trading card game has a lot of strategy but I've pretty much given up on it or any other card game.

For christmas i got 3 packs of pokemon cards and one of them had a deoxys in it and another had a manaphy SHINY in it!!!

Me too, I mean, it absorbs tons of money. Especially those special YGO packs.

Our whole class was obsessed with Pokemon in grade 5...
We had a very spiritual teacher (Christian School), who took the time during school to give us an hour+ long sermon. To end it, everyone was crying and cutting up their pokemon cards in the garbage.. hahahahahahahaha that was a funny day.

I still play the handheld Poke'mon games on long car trips reminds me of my childhood, I still have them cards lying around too, but I quit after my grade 3 teacher took most of them away, I still want them back q_q. I don't like playing any of the like Gamecube games that much. But I still like the N64 versions.

i have been playing muy pomemon diamond pretty much ever since i got it, and i have:
Monferno,Luxio,Staravia,Combee,Machop, and an egg.
their nick names are(In order as above)
Cannon,Howler,Swift,Honeycomb,Karte, and.. well, egg.

Yeah, I'm leaving it alone because Pokemon as a whole covers many different sections, and the games are only one of them. I think the card game etc deserves its own thread.

You mean you learned how to play the game? <_<. We collected them at our school, but nobody actually knew how to play. It was having the shiny cards that mattered.
