You're not my Dude, Man

As you may know by know, one of the masters of modern fantasy passed away yesterday, leaving his amazingly grand life's work, the Wheel Of Time book series, only eleven twelths complete. I know there's a lot of cross overn between the WoT and LoZ fan communities, so I'm sure some of you are as suprised and greived as I am to here this. RJ was always great to the fans; consistently answering our question, listening toour requests, blogging for our benefit and generally being a superb author. He had decades worth of stories left to tell, and his too-soon passing is a real tragedy. The chances of WoT itself surviving are apparently fairly strong; he sontinued to work on 'A memory of Light' right up until his death, and left notes and important plot details with his family; the decision on whether or not to publish has been left primarily with his wife. All honors to Mr. Jordan, and my deepest condolences to his family. He will be fondly remembered. |

Yeah,it would be seriously annoying if whoever finshes it has a completly different style and voice to him.I first started reading his books a couple of years ago,and they were the best books i'd read for ages. They're still amongst my favourites.I was reading this interveiw with him quite a while ago when he found out he had ...a disease wasnt it?And he was talking about how he wasnt going to die before he finished the series.Anyway,he'll be remembered.
