Kansas City Chiefs AFC ACW 0 4 0 .000

For more info on that, go here to the pre-season results.

Anyways, lets get started on talking about our favorite NFL teams, hopes and expectations.

I am Chicago bears fan forever.
The Bears had a pretty good run for the pre-season. But like tons of other fans, I was disappointed again by his butter fingers and the last game except the return of the great defensive tackle Tommie Harris. He's a major plus for the defense.
Sunday is the game against the Chargers and can also be the hardest team these Bears will ever face this season. My expectations this year is that th Bears will most likely be back in the Super Bowl. The NFC North division can be won easily. Th team from lat year has been preserved except for runner Tommis Jones. We have gotten the good players that were injured for our playoff run.
But unless Rex Grossman can improve as a QB, it won't matter of we do make it back to the SB, it'll end up like last year. We NEED a consistent QB to win the Super Bowl.

First off thanks Citizen Snips for starting this thread.

Anyway, I'm a Raiders fan. I'm not expecting us to make an unexpected surge and get into the playoffs, but I do expect about six/seven wins and a more competative squad. Maybe I should say more competative offense.
On top of that. Please get a division win this season!

Alright, here are the results of the first games.

NO: 10
IND: 41

DEN: 15
BUF: 14

TEN: 13
JAC: 10

MIA: 13
WAS: 16

CAR: 27
STL: 13

NE: 38
NYJ: 14

ATL: 3
MIN: 24

PIT: 34
CLE: 7

PHI: 13
GB: 16

KC: 3
HOU: 20

TB: 6
SEA: 20

CHI: 3
SD: 14

Baltimore Ravens-Cincinatti Bengals and the Cardinals-49ers will be on Monday.

What I thought of the Bears defense was fantastic yesterday. They were mostly able to contain LT. What I was disappointed about was Rex Grossman and the offense. Grossman was horrendous, he could barley get a first down.

By all means, the Bears should have won that game. They got SO many breaks and good defensive plays when they needed to, interceptions, calls... If the offense was at least decent, we would have won. But we're not going anywhere with Grossman the way he is.

It sounds our blaming only Grossman on this game but I'm sorry. Everyone did great except him. We had a chance to trample the Chargers and we should have taken advantage of that. I'm disgusted with our QB, the only thing he's changed is throwing the ball away when he needs too. A bit calmer but still doesn't get the job done.

Unfourtunatly, Mike Brown has been injured again as well.

I still can't believe that the Eagles lost to the Packers. Now the Bears are the only ones without a win in the NFC North and in last place. Isn't that ironic..

Hmm so a coach that takes HGH gets suspended for four games, but a coach that is caught cheating ans probbaly has been cheating for many years does not even get suspended

Where is the logic in that?

I think your wrong here. I'm not saying Rex was great, but the problem was the whole offense. No run game, bad protection (you saw the sack Shaun Phillpps had), and I saw few pass plays trying ot get Rex in a flow.

The game went south for the Bears when the punt by the Chargers hit a Bear player and was recovered by the Chargers. That was in the middle of the 3rd.

Anyway my team lost, but we were down 17 and fought to get the game 21-20 in the Raiders favor. I think we can beat the Broncos this week, I hope as the Raiders are 0-12 I think in divison games the last 2 seasons.

True, I felt that they should have defended Grossman much better. I guess I just had that blind hatred once we lost. But still, I'm most disappointed with Grossman. After all that training in the summer too...I just don't have a good feeling. If you continues this for the next 2 games, then I'll really be worried.

Can't disagree there. But the defense did more than keep the team in the game, they were worn out by being in so much.

How bout them Cowboys? Even though I love 'em, they're secondary isn't all that strong. Roy Williams (my favorite player) and Terrence Newman IMO are the good ones in those postitions.

Yeah their secondary did have fits with Plex. Romo looked good though. I really think the Cowboys might win the NFC East. I think they should beat Minnesota this week (that is who they play right?)

Actually they kicked Miami's ass.
Now I'm pissed again.

And we didn't but it was a good close game.
Fins-Jets games usually are, its still obvious that we have work to do.
Ronnie Brown is a stud, to bad it took 2 games for Cameron to realize that.

The teams I am going for and why

Jacksonville Jaguars - Since I live there.

Dallas Cowboys - I was born in Texas.

Indianapolis Colts - They are unstopable.

SeaHawks. - They have been doing well in the past years and I need two teams on the NFC to root for

The Bears need a lot of work, especially on the offensive side. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it very far in the postseason this year, if at all.

I think the Packers are in for a win next week. Their offense is much more solid than last year, and Greg Jennings is really shaping into a nice receiver. Now that Morency is back, the run game will only improve from here. Their defense got romped all over today by the Vikings' run game, but they've been impressive for the past few weeks, and even managed to hold LT on a leash last week. Give it some work and I think the Packers are making a run for NFC North champs again.

Ronnie Brown is the only good player on the Dolphins right now.

I'm just afraid of him getting injured. He is our only bona fide offensive threat right now. We didn't give him the ball enough against Green Bay, and it might have cost us the game. But I can understand wanting to keep him healthy and fresh. He and Chester Taylor form a nice one/two punch.

I can see where you're comming from, as he was injury prone in college and he would have won the Heisman if he wasnt hrt so much.

He hasn't gotten hurt yet, although its only been about a month.
I think he'll hold up.

Watching him play, I can see why he is injury prone. He runs angrily. Not only does he not bother to evade hits, he actually seeks them out. I have to admit that I get a kick out of watching him stay on his feet as he knocks down guys much bigger than him.

However, it won't be a big surprise when he gets injured. But that's the risk you take, and that's just the way it goes in the NFL.

Well the Uber good Patriots beat Dallas to make themselves 6-0 while leaving Dallas at 5-1

Also, get this, top 3 quarter backs in the NFL right now.

Payton Manning
Tom Brady
David Garrard (See what you got when you got rid of leftwich?)

Thats right and now that the Cowboys have lost I could say Jax has the 3rd best team in the NFL.

Go Jacksonville!

I don't see any team in the NFC that matches up with New England.

Nope not a chance but you have to give the Cowboys credit for actually scoring I mean the redskins got 0 - 57 or somthing.
