Re: Favorite Books

So I just finished reading the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz, which can only be described as breathtaking. It engulfs you in a world of mysticism that will simply not let go of your attention.

For those of you who are into Hermeticism this is a most read.

The Dresden Files.

I didn't have to even think before adding them to this thread. These books are just plain awesome. Urban Fantasy at its finest.

Re: Favorite Books

Inkheart, Inkspell, Inkdeath. The Shadow Child Sequence. Jules Verne's books. His Dark Materials. The Inheritance Cycle.

I decided to see what the hype about Inkheart was, so I nabbed it from the school library and got into the trilogy.

In sixth grade, the teacher gave us a random book to read. I got Among the Shadows by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It was a good book, so I read the next. I finished the last book when I quickly got it when it came in the library.

I tried reading a book with a higher grade number on the label-thingy. I came up with Jules Verne's books.

His Dark Materials. I picked up The Golden Compass and read it.

The Inheritance Cycle. I found a big, good-looking book and read it.

Re: Favorite Books

Well, my favorite series of books is Warriors by Erin Hunter, I've been quite a large fan of the series for quite a few years. But, I really did like that book All Quiet On The Western Front and I forgot who wrote it but it was a great book that I borrowed from my cousin.

Re: Favorite Books

So far I am really liking the books by Michael and Jeff Shaara. The Killer Angers plus Gods and Generals are both really good if you are interested in the American Civil War...

Re: Favorite Books

I enjoy reading, which my friends find a bit weird. One of my fave books is Ken Folletts: Code To Zero. I also enjoy reading Dan Brown books, Harry Potter, The Hobbit. But I couldn't really pick 1 favourite because that much to choose from! ;-)
