I'd have to agree with Marvelman, it's not necessarily the best...but it's alright nonetheless. This is one of the marvel comics that I happen to not read as much.

I have a few GR issues from the early 90's. Pretty good stuff, interesting main character and all that. I'm looking forward to the movie as well, even though it's made by the director of Daredevil. *shudders*

Well I call it the best because its the only Comic I actually own almost every issue of.
Also the movie looks like it will AWSOME.

Oh I understand you now. Meh...the main reason I don't like it is cause it's really "dark." A lot of the Marvel Knights series is dark like that (Punisher, Daredevil, Blade, etc.).
Don't get me wrong, the story of Ghost Rider is fantastic (like a lot of Marvel), but it's really..."negative" at the same time.
