Inheritance trilogy discussion thread

this thread is for discussing anything about or related about the inheritance trilogy. for those who dont know it is the books Eragon, Eldest, and the the third isnt out yet. i personally cant wait for the movie. i have seen that chris himself is in it so that will be cool. also i really hope he chose a good director so he doesnt kill the book. Anyway, i guess the movie will be good. If you've learned from many other movies/book/games transitions. Now, if it was like LOTR or Harry Potter quality, it would be excellent. But, since this is in Misc. we're talking about the book, if you wanna talk about the movie, then switch this to Movies section.

but i think i know what the last chapter is going to be about... 'A promised full filled' or something like that. Saphira(sp) uses her powers and Eragon's to fix the one thing she promised to do.(cant think of it)

No Saphira made a promise to the Dwarfs to fix this one thing she and that one elf(damn cant remember her name) broke to help Eragon fight of the Shade.

I started to read Eragon but I just never got into it. I will probley still see the movie though.

Personaly i cant remember what color it is, i just know it was broken to try and save Eragon.

As for the movie i really hope they dont leave to much out. I just rewatched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and i really couldnt help notice all the stuff missing. Harry doesn't even ask Lupin how he knows it was a map or for that matter to work it. Harry gets his Firebolt at the end of the movie, but he recieves it in the middle and was taken to make sure it was safe. Also it doesnt even mention how James was usualy a Stag or how any of them became animagus to spend the night out with Lupin when he was a werewolf. Or even how they came up with the map...

Oh sorry about that... Anyways i just hope they dont leave lots of the info out for those who havent read the books.

I don't. But I do know that it will likely be called Empire. The cover is supposed to show a green dragon facing right. I can't wait for the movie! I'm gonna see it about 4 or 5 times (not really)!

the gem was the star rose and saphira promised to fix it for hrothgar the dwarven king. and chris p. does play a part, but not a soldier silly, he plays roran, eragon's step brother. also the idea of a green dragon would be tight. empire seems like kind of a lame title though, so hopfully he come up with something better, if thats true at all.

new topic: do you think eragon will ever go back to the elves? he must go back and finish his training, but as he leaves, that elf is singing the song that says he will never come back or somthing, which is big foreshadowing. i think he will try to go back, but he will get sucked into matters with nasuada and trying to get the last egg back. what is your opinion or idea of what will happen?

I agree with Tre on the Prisoner of Azkabab thing, they did mess up a lot on that, and I hope that they don't do that with this. Also, I do think that he will coem back to the elves, but he and the girl won't get married. In fact, i think she will die.

And, its called the Inheritance Trilogy. That most likely means that one book in the Trilogy will be Inheritance. Well, there is Eragon adn Eldest, so that leaves one more book, Inheritance. Of course, this is speculation.

hmm interesting insight on eragon with ayra. ya i could see her dying. i wouldnt put it past chris to do that.
