Who Will own the Stanley Cup in 2006??

Who do you think will win the Stanley Cup?? Because of limited options I left out the bottom 6 teams, Sorry

Um, I don't know much about hockey.
I'm moving this to the entertainment forum, in "misc".

Red Wings all the way. It'll be them and Ottawa in the final round, but the Wings will take it. Of course, I'm biased since they are my favourite team (followed closely by the failure of a team known as the Maple Leafs). Because of my Leaf's affiliation, I really don't want Ottawa to win. That and the fact a shared a room with an Ottawa kid this year who I dispised also makes me hope they lose.

I'm going for the Senators to win the Cup this year, though they have a history of doing great in the normal season and fizzling out in the playoffs.

I don't follow hockey much apart from the Sharks, so I couldn't say how I think they'll fare. But they split with the Predators away which is about as good as they could have hoped for. So my hopes are high. Hopefully they won't be crushed like last season. Go teal!

If the Stars don't get their crap together then I'll be out oof luck on my vote, but I still think they could take the Avalanche down. They are my home team and I've been to 2 of the last 3 games so I've really been into hockey lately. I think the thing that would make me happy if they lose is Ottowa also not getting it.

I want the Montreal Canadians to win because for me they're the home team. But I really think that they have a good chance this year because they already took a lot of people by surprise taking the lead in the series against the Hurricanes 2-0. Also the reason that they didn't do better during the regular season was because they had Theodore in nets for most of the season and didn't get Huet until later on. On an unrelated note I'll be at the Canadian's game tomorrow.

Well the Stars are down 3 games and it appears they won't make it out of the first round which makes me muy triste. I guess I need to find out where my loyalties will go for the rest of the play-offs. Do you guys think it would be ok to root for the team that beats my team (avalanche have always been in my top 3 with the penguins)?
