Have any of you ever read her books? They're incredibly good, and I can't stay away from them.

Her series include:

The Immortals
The Circle Opens
The Protector of the Small
The Circle of Magic
The Song of the Lioness

Each of these are quartets. I have read:

The first three of the Immortals, all of the Circle of Magic, and all of the Circle Opens.

These books are fantasy, which I happen to love, including mages, mythical creatures, and many other fantasy-like things. Each book is about 250-350 pages long. It's all I've read for the entire school year, adding up to a whopping 3,000-something pages.

Tamora Pierce is a great author; this makes me wonder. How many of you have read her stuff? If you've not, I highly suggest you do. My suggestion of order, since it is hard to tell when you first start reading, is:

The Song of the Lioness
The Immortals
The Protector of the Small
The Circle of Magic
The Circle Opens

The first three include most of the same characters, as the last two include the same set of different characters than the first three.

Go on now, read!

Yes, i have read the lioness ones, the immortals and protector of the small. I read protector of the small first, even though its supposed to be the last series. The lioness ones i thought were by far the best... I haven't read them for a while, by i will try to get into them again when the library stops doing their clean up thingy.

In the meantime, i am reading grettel killeens series!

I have read the Lioness series and I'm working on protector of the small now. I really like them. I tried to read Circle of magic but it bored me.

I've read the lioness quartet, the circle of magic quartet, the circle opens quartet, the immortals quartet, the protector of the small quartet and Trickster's Choice (about Alanna's daughter). Pretty much all of them, then... The Immortals are probably my favourite. Does anyone know when Trickster's Queen is going to be published in the UK?
