Favorite novels.

My personnal favorites are Bram Stoker's "Dracula", and the many versions of "The three kingdoms". Those are two of the most succesful novels ever. Dracula has become a character that is used and re-used to the point of insanity, and "The Three Kingdoms" has spawned numerous movies, video games, books, and plays.

So, what are your guys' favorite novels?

Re: Favorite novels.

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, The Gates of the Forest, and 1984 are just some of my favorite novels. Jules Verne, Elie Weisel, and George Orwell are just amazing authors. If you can I recommend that you pick these up right now.

White Fang and The Call of the Wild. Both by Jack London. Both fantastic. Both about 100 years old. I recommend these to anyone just because these are truly beautifil books.

Re: Favorite novels.

Waaa!!! I LOVE Orwell!!!

Yup, 1984 is good, but my all time favorite is Dune by Frank Herbert. Actually, the whole Dune trilogy is amazing. I can't even count the amount of times I've read those books...

Yeah, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is also my favourite book. It was about the only book in school that I actually enjoyed reading. Probably because I was able to pick the book, though. The book was amazing: full of adventure, suspence, and mystery. I could never figure out what be happening next, which in my opinion is a trait of any great book.

Re: Favorite novels.

Terry Pratchett's The Last Hero is brilliant as is The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. (Unlike the movie!)

Re: Favorite novels.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time - Funny, yet dramatic at the same time.
And the Harry Potter books - They're better then the movies, but the movies are still good.
Series of Unfortuante Events' books - Quite addictive.
Looking for JJ - Never have I read a book with so much suspense.

Re: Favorite novels.

I recently read Jane Eyre, which was pretty good. But I really liked this book I found called The Burden of Truth.
