Melbourne Cup

As all Australian's know, today had the Melbourne Cup, An event that stops the whole national just to watch a 3 minute horse race.

And for the third time Makybe Diva won the cup winning about 13 Mil

Anyway I was wondering what horses people chose and if you won anything

I chose Eye Popper for a place and 1st and unfortunately didn't win anything.

And Mods and Admins I am not promoting gambling or anything, it's just out of curiosity to see what people got, but if this is against the rules or something please Lock this.

I was going for Makybe, as she's from my state (South Australia) and she's on a winning streak.

I knew Diva would win, but the town where I come from has a day off, wooooo, I didn't even watch it.

And if I did bet I would bet for the horse with the funniest name.

Makybe Diva, third year in a row, that right there is history. She is the first horse to win the Melbourne Cup three times. I doubt we'll ever see something like that again. Well done to the owners, trainer and the jockey, Glen Boss, who did a bloody great job.

I put a bet on Rizon, 'cause that horse had the worst odds. I like to put a bet on the horses with the worst odds. Who knows, might get lucky one day.

My school didn't stop, I was in maths and everyone knows what maths teachers are like

Wow, the Diva won? Did anyone see A Current Afair? Because this guy said he had a system on working out who would win and he said Makybe Diva wouldn't win

I was doing a 3 hour exam when the race was on. The exam supervisors were nazis.
