Ender's Game Series

Well, if enough people like Ender's Game, i would like to make this the official Ender's Game forum. The Ender's Game series is my favorite series and id love to see this thread come to life. Anyway, ill start the first topic. Shadow Puppets- I liked it, but most of my friends say it was the worst of the books. Some of them like to say that it was bad by any standards, not just the standards the high quality of the other Ender books set. Please post your thoughts on this, if anyone posts at all. Please post.

Re: Ender's Game Series

I only read the first one, Ender's Game for english class. I personally loved the book. It was very real and much more mature then other books I've read. All my other friends thought it was boring though. I was going to get the other books but I never got around to it. But I think it would be cool to have an Ender's Game forum.

Re: Ender's Game Series

I read Ender's Game way back in grade 8 for the first time, and have read it uncountable times since. I've actually read all of the books so far except for the newest one Shadow of the Giant. I liked Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow the best, as I loved the way that battle school functioned and how all the children interacted with each other in the small society they lived in. Seeing the kids growing up in the real world was interesting and all, but wasn't as good (In terms of the Shadow series). The Ender series was pretty good, but seemed like rather drastic departures from the original. Though I haven't read those since grade 9, so maybe that has something to do with it, while I read most of the Shadow series every year or so. But yeah, good series. Was supposed to be a movie for a long time, but that doesn't seem to be coming any faster than usual.

Re: Ender's Game Series

I freakin' love the Ender's Game series (by Orson Scott Card). It is really awesome, but I have only read Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, and Ender's Shadow. I began to read Xenocide, but then I had to stop because it was a school book and the end of 8th grade. It kinda sucked, and I never got back to reading it. Instead, I began to read The Iron Tower (which is also a very very good book, but is by Dennis L. McKeirnan; TRY TO READ IT). I really have nothing else to say at the moment.

Re: Ender's Game Series

The Ender's series is one of the best sci-fi I have ever read. Orson Scott Card is a great writer. I have read all his books, including the one's in the Bean Series. My two favorite Ender's book are Ender's Game and Xenocide. From the Bean Series I like, Ender's Shadow. It's amazing, and I can't wait for future books that he writes. The most recent one that I know of is, Shadow of the Giant. Well, that is all I can say, for now.

Re: Ender's Game Series

I've only read Shadow of the Giant, but I loved it above most other books. It's prolly my second to third favourite book.

Re: Ender's Game Series

Well I finally got around to reading Enders game at the begin of this year. Awsome book, a read the first sequel and the first three shadow books after it. I prefer the shadow series just because I like Bean and Petra as characters. Must track down the three I haven't read.
