The Phillies are turrible, just turrible. Turrible like the Clippers are turrible. It would be a miracle if the Clippers were the Yankees, but the Clippers are turrible.

But yeah, New York takes its 27th World Series, champions of the 2009 MLB Season, yadda yadda yadda.

And as a die hard Phillies fan, I don't think its "the end" of anything. So, this seasons over, but unlike many teams, our's doesn't change. No free agents to drop, no one's got a bad beef with our managing staff, no players on injury or aging out. Though this seasons over, the 2010 season starts tonight. Yeah, it sucks not being able to repeat off of our first WS in 25 years, it sucks not having our parade, or a new shirt, or just ****ing bragging to NY. But the 2008 World Series Champions are the same team, a better team now than we were then.

And we'll be there in 2010.

Plus, we can all laugh at the ****ing Mets.
