Off and on. I love Full Metal Alchemist, despite its completion. The Meloncholy of Hurahi *insert last name I can't spell here* is one I like as well. Add a dash of Ghost in the Shell, Witch Hunter Robin, and Detective Conan as well. (Too bad it got canceled. >_>)

Yes, the bad guy, a former Zanpakuto himself is 'freeing them and letting them persue their true nature'. He got Zangetsu (who Ichigo defeated soon after, of course) and told him it was really a hypnotic voice telling them what to do.

Of course, Yamamoto and his Zanpakuto seem immune, so the Zanpakuto sealed him up. Which is a blessing, because given his sword's massive power in SHIKAI, one could only imagine the devistation it would cause if it had intent to incinerate all Soul Society. xD

Yeah, although littered with filler, the Anime version has some interesting parts to it. For example, the Zanpakuto filler arc where they all get mind-controlled into doing someone's bidding.

It's doubtful Urahara will show up so we can see Benihime. =/

Just the anime so far. DOn't have much time for the Manga. I just watched the new episode too. Nothing interesting happens, just Ukitake, Yuroichi, Ichigo, and that guy with the hat and woman's floral coat overtop his Captain's one (I can't remember his name for the life of me) hop off to save Yamamoto.
