heh... it's ok. the subject pops up every few months or so, and it's pretty much the same thing every time. one of them says "ask me what you want to know, don't read anti-mormom stuff!" then people start asking questions, and they fold

weeeeelllll... I'd think of all people, you'd understand that you probably won't get the most engaging of discussions from the TBM's here

ZU is a good place for discussions of all sorts, but if you want conversation about mormonism, exmormon.org is definately the place. not everyone there is rude and spiteful

hey I understand if you feel some resentment towards the church. I certainly don't blame you. dating an ex-mo for 2 years has helped me understand why that can be, but I still consider a few of the mormons on ZU to be friends and I know that just because their religion is rediculous, they're still good people doing their best. I just don't like to see the "Oh, looky here! you must not be a good little mormon if you don't know (x) about Joseph Smith" that's just how it looked.

besides, most of the mormons had "said what they needed to say" and left, so it would have been a one-sided discussion of people talking about it. I pretty much said everything I needed to say there, too. anything beyond what I had already said would have just been personal opinion, which isn't the greatest
