Personality: If she sees something she wants, she takes it--this is the basic principle of actions you can expect from Agnes. Any other thing she does will go back to this one idea--she wishes to indulge her wants and desires, and if something or someone appeals to her, she will take steps to make them hers. She collects things--including people. They are seen as a possession. Romantic love is a silly concept to her. She adores men, but only wishes to use them for her own pleasure, and has no qualms about tossing them out like yesterday's trash if they don't satisfy her. She changes lovers like an average person changes underwear. As much as she loves her own looks (often wearing too much make-up which she thinks is appealing), she's willing to change to an extent to win over the affections of a particularly stubborn lover, so long as they are attractive and amusing enough to be worth the effort. She never dirties her hands herself, but often her servants can and will resort to violence when other methods fail. She acts more as the head of the kingdom, doling out the orders and voicing her desires as if they are to be fulfilled the moment she announces them. Agnes goes so far as to use the royal "we", on occasions. The idea that someone might not want her, or that she cannot have something, is incomprehensible. Everyone, in her mind, has a price.
When she has a particular person that has captured her attention, she will be extremely generous and sweet towards them, for as long as they hold her affections. That's easier said than done though, as she's very fickle and gets bored easily, and will move on to a new "gem" without remorse or hesitation. Everyone is just seen as a passing fling, something to entertain her. Servants are expendable and to be used as she pleases and how she pleases. Her "darlings" often get much more freedom, and lavish promises and gifts for as long as she dotes on them. They may leave her palace and have other lovers so long as they always come back to her and do not commit themselves to someone else. Each new object of her interest will generally be "tested" in her bedchambers first, before accepted into her palace. She enjoys capturing her new targets when they're in the middle of baths or showers, having little sense of modesty. Once tender spot with her is her age, and she's very concerned with maintaining her eternal youth and beauty, as well as that of her darlings. She'll never introduce herself as "Agnes" because she thinks it makes her sound old--instead, she'll give her surname "Lancia" as her first name.
She's rarely been seen acting as anything but generous, regal, and in good humor, and is not easily fazed or perturbed. Some of her servants fear to see how she may be when she is not satisfied, and strive to make sure they never find out. Disobedience or other behavior people may see as rude will be dismissed with a hearty chuckle by Agnes, and the offending party is often punished away from the public eye, if at all. The only groups Agnes will openly show disgust or dislike of are the unattractive/old, eunuchs, and women (especially attractive women.) The ugly/elderly and eunuchs are seen as a waste of space and life--she said she would "never employ eunuchs", thinking the process of making one is, "such a horrible thing to do to the best part of a man". Beautiful women she sees as competition, and if one is involved with a man she desires, she will not hesitate to eliminate the competition if the woman threatens to keep the man from ever returning to the palace. The man, if he marries another, will have his wife killed as punishment and then is promptly dumped, because to Agnes, his marriage meant that she no longer is the greatest woman in his eyes. She loses interest in him, no matter how attractive. It's difficult to win her favor again.
