It's definitely ironic in that my most cherished work is the work I most want criticism on to improve, but if it were to be stolen it would be devastating to me. Remember, these aren't single pieces of art to me, they're cartoon series. As soon as someone steals a picture or work in progress of some of my characters and passes them and the ideas off as their own, it's basically impossible for me to get them back. It's basically a race, and I'm not showing my hand before I have to. I would be devastated to have any of my stuff stolen from me, really.

Yeah, but my main reason for not doing DA yet is that I don't necessarily want to get my work out to more people yet. What you see on ZU is probably among my worst stuff-- I have untold amounts of characters and drawings I haven't shown yet, because they're my most important and cherished, and for the time being I'm protecting them.

So until I get somewhere solid with them, I can't show them. And I won't use deviantArt for that reason-- there is absolutely no point to me in showing a work in progress to thousands of unknown people when it's that important to me. I don't want anyone to steal it before I finish it, and I don't want people to see every single step I take.

Hey. I just wanted to comment on your post in the Retribution thread without going off topic in the thread itself. (In another forum I'm on there's a rep system where you can sort of give positive or negative points to other peoples posts, only there's nothing like that on ZU so I have to do it via VM, ha.)

So, anyway, good post. I enjoyed reading it, you made some good arguments.

Someone actually asked me about that in my art thread.
Short answer: no.
For now, ZU is it.
I'm sorta working out a blog or something too, but there's not gonna be anything different on it for now.

When I watched Code Geass, my only thought was "That's me. This is an anime about me. That is me in anime form." I'm nowhere near as strategically intelligent, but idealistically and philosophically, Lelouch is identical. I don't idolize him, I don't have affection for him, that would be like considering him a superior or something to be worshipped. I simply see him in the same light I see myself. Watch at least up to episode 7 to get the general gist of why I like him.

Enjoy the series while you can though, the last fifteen minutes of season two forgets all of that.
