the DoT skip is basically just a cool glitch that allows you to become an adult without obtaining the Ocarina of Time. you can YouTube it to see how it works.

I've also decided to do the three heart challenge, which has gone fairly well, except for one time I forgot to save it and lost a good amount of progress.
