So of course I could not miss this opportunity!
My boyfriend, Quint, here on the forums, also got me the best gift ever - a Bear Grylls book titled "Born Survivor".... a Dangerous book for men! Haha. This pretty much made the whole deal right here.
So, I drive from my school (4 hours away from where I live in florida) to go see this event where he is going to speak and all. My mom and my friend comes. We get really close seats and I bring my book with me just in case not thinking that I would actually get to havea chance to have it signed...
but I got it signed!
I was a very happy camper and my friend who was with me was dead set on trying to get me his autograph since I'm usually pretty timid when it comes to stuff like getting an autograph and I don't really care about celebs... everyone was really happy for me, haha! I didn't even ask, I just meekly held out my book and he signed it. lol.
My friend still has the photo of him signing my book with me in it, but these are the ones I took. But here are some pitures I took:
We were really close to the stage-

I really don't mean to rain on your parade and all that, I was a huuuge fan of his too, but it was like, proven that he faked some things on his show for high production values here and there. Like, he was "attempting" to scale this rock formation and was advertising how hard it was, saying tips for doing it and struggling over the thing. Apparently, a hiker or somebody recognized the spot, and then recorded a video of him walking casually over the very same rock formation, and then the camera panned left and showed a road with cars driving by.

I'm sorry.
