People are not always what they seem. Here's what I see. You asked her first and she told you maybe because she didn't want to go with you but she didn't want to make you sad. So when this other guy asked her she said yes to him because she likes him more than you and so she wouldn't have to give you a straight answer.

Okay, so you asked this girl out to the prom and she dissed you? Well that wasn't very ethical. Man, you know. Over the vast integers of people around us, there is that person we like in particular. Sometimes we do crazy stuff for them and a lot of times we would glide from one place of the globe to the other just to please them. However, you gotta know that not every person is the right person for us. Sometimes we try to choose our own mate because we like her/his appearance, attitude, or what not. But I dont know if you ever heard this. "There are a lot of apples in the tree. Some are small, some are green, others are infected with disease". But there is a lot to choose from. Who knows. Probably there is that one unnoticeable person in the background waiting for you to ask her out.

Arceus... here's the hard sad truth of it all. There are lots of girls who are very beautiful. but most of those girls that look pretty have a horrible personality and only really care about themselves. It's rareto find a very beautiful girl with a matching personality... very rare. Same goes with guys. Bye
