Anyhow, I had a sneaking suspicion that you hadn't played Chrono Trigger and there was some kind of coincidence going on here, but I decided to go with it anyway. I guess you've played it, but there was still a coincidence :p

What about the Elite? I thought it was pretty good, but I haven't read What Ever Happened to Truth Justice and the American way, so I don't know what it should compare to.

Also, I just watched a thing called the science of Superman. kind of cool, but god, they put way too much effort into trying to rationalize how a comic book character could be possible.

eh, reign of the superman I thought was the weakest part of the death story.

You need to go watch Doomsday again. Clark is going to Afghanistan to do foreign reporting as a cover to why he won't be around while Superman and Lois have a vaccation (though I do admit, I didn't like the idea that Clark still hadn't revelaed him self to Lois at this point). The cancer thing was Superman trying to cure it while lamenting that he can create a machine which can make contact with the future, but he still can't cure one of the deadliest known desieses.

And come on, they're dating and obviously having sex. You think Supe's isn't going to be fooling around and flirting in private?


The film I'd like to see is Flash, or maybe even Aqua Man (though I admit, I've never been Aqua Man's biggest fan). I mean, they've done Superman and Batman to death, they've done GL, WW, and the JL. But you have an amazing, classic character like Flash and they just seem to ignore him.

But that's what I loved! They took the story, kept it strong and emotional, but changed it enough to fit the time frame.

That's story is awesome. Doom isn't quite as good, but still entertaining. And it's really too bad. I was looking forward to doom because it seems that team always comes up with good stuff when they take an existing story and alter it. My two favourite DCAO movies are Doomsday and Under the Red Hood. Amazing movies, both of them. I was disapointed with Year One, and was hoping Doom would kick it back up a notch, but it could have been so much more.
