Podcat is even better. It makes it so that you can accidentally misspell the name as podcast, which is what I'd originally done at the beginning of this paragraph!

it's not podbat, it's podcat.
"podcat" came from a funny typo, and "fruitbat" came from a name I called Aniday because he stays up all night editing the cast. then I discovered how fun it is to say "fruitbat"
