It's owned by a local company that has a total of 5 stations in the cleveland/Ohio north coast area. Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting is the company. They also own 2 newspapers.
The station is a live, local station that plays a mix of rock music during the day, and a lot of sports too,like the Cleveland Cavs, Indians, OSU football and basketball, and local high school football and basketball.

Do you work for a station local to where you live, or is it part of a corporation, of sorts? On a semi-related note, who won that ZUBC opening that I auditioned for? Mattocks?

very much so. It was always a dream of mine, and it's a pretty fun job. Challenging, creative, interesting.

Speaking ofChina- did you hear that they executed 2 of the people involved in the tainted baby formula scandal?

He's done pieces on Chinese drywall filled with hydrochoric acid recently, he also just aired a piece on Oasis of the Seas, the world's biggest cruise ship. It's basically a floating theme park. He also does local political pieces, about a governor or state senate race, for example.

He also did this very odd story about pedophies livin under a bridge near a beach, with maybe two-hundred men living in tents or shacks.

Yeah, he's my father. He's a reporter that does pieces for NPR and the local Miami station, WLRN.

is he a radio guy? I may have heard of him but I'm mixing him up right now with Rick Allen of Q104 and WNCX.

By any chance, have you ever heard of Greg Allen?
