The DM of the first game I played was like that. Made me fall in love with D&D, only to realize that basically half the campaigns suck because of bad DMs. There's this friend of mine that is usually the DM, that is so bad he makes the adventures along the way and undoes stuff all the time. We even replay whole sessions because he got us in dead ends.
