Her interactions with authority figures like her King, like those with Vetinari or Kelso, are fun too. x3 (You can get lost in it for hours! x3 Like a maze you can't remember the start of and can't find the end to.)

    Yaay!

Haha, that would be me! But my hands would be shaking the whole time, like "Omg, omg, w-we're flying, we're really flying! O-one false move and... and...!"

I wish I had that! I used to make the sound effects myself.

I just work in retail at the moment, nothing special. But in two years I'll be done with that! And hopefully can get a real job. x3 They have those kinda things you went on at amusement parks here and just watching them makes me wanna wet myself. xP But I'd do it once, if I was convinced it was safe enough. No one luckily did anything like your stepdad did to me. :O My dad did pull me under water by surprise a lot in swimming pools, but strangely I'm not afraid of water in the least.

I never saw Heroes! Is it good? People talk about it all the time, especially on TVTropes.

xDD I've stair-surfed! It never ends well. x3

Thank you! ^^ I appreciate any attempt at finding it, really, don't worry if it's not stellar-quality, reenactment right before my eyes. x3

If they do, I've never seen 'em. Our main bookstore chains are Walden Books/Borders and Barnes and Nobles, and they keep saying Borders' company is gonna go out of business, which would be really sad since that's the closest one to me. I guess with the economy the way it is a lot of companies are going under. :/

I liked it muchly! ^^ And of course I'll wait, I wanna let you use who you feel would fit most naturally. He can meet Balt another time. :3

I don't know why, but the words "Possession is nine tenths of the law!!" just jumped into my mind, lol. *is a dork* That makes sense, a feeling of responsibility makes people like Cox and Vimes what they are, it adds so much to their personality. =3 (Oh boy, I still have it all to come. xP)

    Ok, done! xD

LOL, "Lieutenant, set us down at A122, DX423 sector 11."
    "...........uh...?"
    "*sigh*...that flat bit over there."

Also, I used to play that game with my brother a lot. He had this electronic version of the game which would make 'splosion sound effects, or a splash of water for a miss, haha!! xP

Yeah, they're scary things. When we were younger we had to paint the house, and I had to go up this ladder to the second floor, and I was terrified. Then, my brother thought it would be fun to start pulling the ladder off the wall, and shaking it and stuff. At one point I was like three foot away from the wall just clinging to this ladder, screaming my head off. Another thingthat made me really scared of heights was, when we lived in a three floored house, my stepdad would sometimes hold me over the top bannister by my ankles. @___@ That was like...the worst experience ever, especially since I was only about 8 or something at the time, lol. That probably put the fear of heights into me, I would guess. Ohh, but skydiving would just be the most exhilirating experience of your life!! That's why I want to go, just for the rush and the amazing experience. I would love to go bungee-jumping too. I've been on one of these, that was SO much fun!! But that starts at the bottom and throws you up, it's not like a bungee-jump. You should DEFINITELY go bungee-jumping then. Think how much fun it would be! (Talking of work ladders, what do you do? If you don't mind me asking?)

Yeah! It happened to me with a few, though, it kinda spoils it and it's always there in your mind wondering just what plot turning event you missed!! Heroes and Supernatural were annoying for that. I had to skip the series and wait for the reruns to start. @__@

I do it a lot. Lol, we were at Pizza Hut about a week ago for like, a family meetup thing for my dads kids, basically (there are 6 of us), and my brother started telling me this story about how at a night out, at his friends house, they started "stair surfing", which is when you slide down the stairs on something. So, this one story involved my brother's friend riding my brother down the stairs, and it was so funny to me that I was bent over the table. My face was bright red, my eyes were just streaming with tears, and it was from this one story. I've got a pretty bad case of BeingADork, see. It can hit me pretty hard, LOL.

Ok then! =D Here you go. I couldn't find any others except this one, and it's in three parts, sorry. Best I could come up with. : )

I went to WHSmiths. I don't know if they have those over there. They got like, bought out or something last year, or so I heard, so that might be why their quality in what they get instore has gone down. I hope they get UA in fast for you!! It was expensive where I bought it because it was brand new and hardback, though, so maybe it won't be so bad for you.

I can't even remember which ones I've read now, since I was basically just borrowing them off the neighbour. ...Oh. So, I just checked my bookshelf, and I actually have The Hard Way myself, LOL. I don't remember getting that. It's a hardback too. I checked the blurb, this one's a good storyline.

Ooooh, haha!! Well, I'm not sure how Marissa will react to him until she sees him, but hopefully there won't be too many sparks flying, haha!! I think it'll be fun, though. I just hope you like the profile. If you don't, or you don't want to wait any longer, then tell me and I can just use Balt. I'm not sure how long Shetani will be so I'll just keep pestering her utnil she does it, lol. I don't want to keep you waiting too long, though. : (

x3 She's much the same in that she can sometimes act like Rubato is her country. She looks out for it, feels more connected to the people than the King, and if she wants something done for the place she takes it into her own hands, with varying results. x3 She thinks she knows what's going on better than the King since she's closer to the streets and what she'd call the "real" Rubato outside of the capital. I never realized she had that in common with Vimes and Cox too until now. xP (I do that all the time! Luckily I've exhausted most of the most interesting stuff on there now. x3)

Please, PM it! I wanna see.

x33 True! Blindly guessing like people do in that board game Battleship. "Uh... A7? Oh COME ON! It has to be!"

Ladders scare me too. x3 I hate getting on the ladders at work because they're always wobbly and I'm terrified I'll fall. One time it almost tipped over and I swear my life flashed before my eyes. x3 My brother always messes with me and if I go on hotel balconies or anything, he pretends like he's gonna push me off. I freak out! x3 So not cool. I think I'd have to know I only have 24 hours to live or something before I'd sky-dive. x33 Bungee-jumping... more possible.

That happens to me too! I hate missing episodes of stuff, I feel like I'm so behind and will miss plots. Even with shows like House where you can usually watch without worrying what happened last episode because it's just case-by-case.

x3 I don't think I cry much when I laugh, but ooooh do my sides ache. I get to that silent kind of laughing where you're just shaking and gasping. xD

Link me! I can just ignore the subtitles. ^^

Borders bookstores here used to have so much more Pratchett, but now I'm lucky if I can find any of the newer ones. It's just the same collection of a few titles I already have and a few I didn't really wanna read. I think the price has stayed the same, though, at least. No sign of Unseen Academicals, but it took a while for them to stock Making Money, too...

I think I will, after I skimmed some of the blurbs on the back of them. :3 (PM it over!)

Because Damien is soooo awkward around girls. x3 And is shocked if they talk to him for any extended period of time (especially if they're being nice/not commenting on how dirty/disheveled/etc. he is. xP)

Haha, yeah. Vimes and Cox characters are just win because they're direct, it's such a change from the politeness of most people and such. They'll say what's on their mind, and it's awesome. A bit of a superiority thing, like Vimes thinking it's his city and Cox seeing it as his hospital, and such. Even though they don't say those things, I sometimes imagine it as part of why they do what they do. *shrugs* (Haha, it's so interesting though, I'll just have my eye caught by a snazzy link and click it, but what annoys me is when there are a bunch of eye-catching links on the same page, so I have to click and go back, click and go back, or risk opening a new tab and end up with 20 or so tabs at once. ^^")

Well alright then!! xP I just gotta wait for Shetani to post her character before I can, though, but what I can do is just PM it you, if you like. You don't have to read it if you'd rather just wait for it to be posted, I don't mind. ^^

Yeah, that's true at least. xP I just wouldn't want to be like "x___x whaaa?" when they're giving me coordinates or something, haha! x3

Yeah, I did too. I couldn't take the hooks out of their mouth, though, I just couldn't do it. I didn't want to hurt them, even though the people I was with told me they don't feel pain or something, but I think they were just saying that to make me feel better. @___@ Skydiving would be the most exhilirating experience in the world, but I am mortally afraid of heights, like you'd never believe. Even ladders scare me, ugh. But I always think that it helps rollercoasters a lot because it makes them more thrilling, and I think it would be the exact same with skydiving. I would just love to do it, it would be a highlight of my life.

    It's a good show, but I think the first series was probably the best. I actually missed a lot of the later series', and eventually just stopped watching it (and TV altogether, haha). I have a thing about missing a bunch of episodes and trying to watch the series without them, since I never know what I missed and it bugs me. ;____;

Haha, yeah! It's the best thing in the world. I actually did that playing xbox 360 with an online friend, from New Zealand, and I can't even remember what set us off - we just started laughing, and then were laughing at each other, and just laughing endlessly in the middle of this game. We got owned because of it, we just couldn't do anything since we were laughing so much. We laughed so hard that my sides were in agony and my eyes were streaming with tears (and they do that a lot when I laugh, haha). xP

Ok, I will! =D *asks my gran* Ok, so she said two guys have done the Murder on the Orient Express - a guy called Peter Ustinov, and another called Albert Finney. According to her, Ustinov was better. ^^ Eh, I had a look online for you and found one stream of it (I think it's with Ustinov), but it's not great, and it's got Japanese subtitles. x___x So if you want I can link you, but you might want to find your own or something, I don't know. It's up to you.

Yeah, exactly - I went into one of the shops near me that used to be fantastic for books, but now they've gone way down. I mean, they only had a few Terry Pratchett books and even fewer Stephen King books, which was a surprise. Plus they're really expensive now. @__@

Well I hope you like it as much as I did. If you do you should definitely read some of the others, it's a good series. (=D Alrighty then! x3 I'm actually pretty pleased with how she came out, too.^^)

As for the demigod thing, will it? Haha, that should be fun! =3 But why would it throw him off? xP

x3 She can be a cathartic character to read, but she doesn't agree with me much of the time and her problems/situations are nothing like stuff I'd be in. x3 But you can emphatize with how fed up/etc. she is about things she gets involved in. She's very direct/straightforward (sometimes to a fault xP), where as some of my other characters are more concerned over being tactful. x3 So that's a nice change. I love Vimesy/Dr. Cox like characters, they're entertaining. :3 (Oh, that site is infamous for making people do that. x3 There was a joke in the OoC about that for a long time, especially with me because I was so prone to it. x3)

That sounds fine! She could probably insert herself more easily into the little story we've got going, maybe even be mistaken for a threat to the priest. x3 I can wait for when you have her posted--and of course I'll look! ^^

x3 At least you would have someone to ask questions!

Oh, that's good. :O I always feel bad for the fish when they get caught, even though I know people need them as a source of food and all... they're just so unsuspecting, swimmin' around all happy. x3 Poor little guys. Skydiving would scare the beejebus out of me. x3 I'm really afraid of heights.

I've seen the beginning of some episodes. I'll watch it next time I see it!

x3 I love that too! My best friend and me just burst into laughter at the most random things, and THEN I can't stop laughing because her laughs sound so funny sometimes, and then she thinks that's hilarious, and x3 it never ends. And no, I haven't! :O I've heard of it though, I think...

    Ask please! :O

x3 Thank you--and that seems to be the case with a lot of good books... what are the bookstores stocking these days? x3

It's definitely good so far. (I'm sure I will! And okay! ^^)

Yeah, I get that. It came across in your description of her, she does seem to be similar to Dr. Cox. x3 It's easy to see that you care about her character, too. I bet it's a lot of fun. To me it would be like such an outlet too, lol, being able to say what you want and not give a damn who hears it, it must be awesome to do that. xP (Also, you know, every time I look on Tropes, I always without fail end up following a whole bunch of links when they catch my eye, and always spend way longer than I mean to reading them. xP)

Yeah, even having only read one post of him I can see that he'll be a lot of fun to read! x3 But, as for that Demon I was planning, I had a massive thought rearrangement about that. See, I have another character planned, a demigod. See, the Demon was going to be a comical figure, but the stuff I had planned for him seems to me like it would suit a demigod better (his powers and nature, etc), and vice versa for the demigod...so I'm going to switch them out, haha. xP Only now the demigod is a girl, lol, so yeah - big rearrangement. x3 Anyway, I have a feeling that her character would a LOT better suited to the RP with Damien, only I didn't want to just switch it out without asking you. So, when I finish the profile of her, could you take a look and see what you think? I don't mind using Balt if that screws anything up, it's no sweat. xD

Maths IS evil. I hate maths. Blah. Oh, yeah, especially if I was a pilot, there'd be a navigator there too. But I'd have to have at least some understanding of them. xP

It was nice, it was very pretty. It's a shame that it was a fishing resort, but luckiy anything that got caught there was released back into the lakes, so it wasn't so bad. Wow!! You should go there more often, some fish are really beautiful with their colours. And scuba diving would be WIN. My dream is to go skydiving though. I would do anything for that. ^^

Haha, it is pretty funny, you should catch it some time if you can. It's all about karma, and this guy (Earl) and his belief that he's getting paid back for every bad thing he does. So he has to go through this big list of wrongs to right, lol. It's a good show. xP

Laughter is my favouritest thing in the world. I was always the class clown in school, I'd do literally anything for laughs, it didn't matter if it was with me or at me. I calmed down a lot since then but I still love getting people to laugh. But my all time favourite thing in the whole world has to be that laugh that's contagious, and which is usually over nothing. Like, one person will start laughing, then another, and then you're laughing BECAUSE the other person is laughing. That is just unbelievably fun, I love it. ^^ But yeah, laughter is really good for you. Reminds me of a film, actually - have you seen Patch Adams?

He's a funny little man, for sure. I know they did a couple with the older actors, but not David Suchet. I forget their names, I can look them up if you want (or just ask my nan, haha xP). I'd love it if Suchet did the Orient Express one, that would be pretty win.

I actually don't know. This book doesn't have any of the other titles in it, anywhere. The trilogy is called Tyrants and Kings. Actually, I don't even know if it's a trilogy, I just realized, haha. I'll look it up now...*Googles*...ok, so it is a trilogy. The other two books, according to Wiki, are The Grand Design and The Saints of the Sword. I really want to get them but I don't think I've ever seen them on sale anywhere. =\

Ah, I think I read that one!! Reacher is definitely awesome. He's completely unafraid of doing what it takes. There's one where he has to meet his old MP investigation team, because one of them gets killed at the beginning. That was a pretty good one. The good thing is, not only is a cool character, the plots themselves are really well written. (Yeah, that sounds like the best way to do it. =3 I just hope you like the new character. I'll link you when it's finished. =D)

Math is evil. x3 And maps are confusing. Ohh yeah, I can imagine--but you'd have other people with you too then, right? :O

x3 That sounds so nice! Like a scene out of a movie or from a painting. There was a big lake by here that we saw some red and white fish in (they were huge!) but I have no idea what kind they were. Sea creatures can be so weird. x3 (But interesting!) I reeeally wanna go scuba diving someday.

I've never managed to catch a whole episode! But it looks hilarious, I know the actor who plays him is really funny.

x3 People who can laugh at themselves are awesome. It makes things so much easier too, if you're willing to step back and laugh at something dumb you did. x3 Laughter's good for you. ^^

Now I wanna watch him! I wonder if they have a movie version of The Murder on the Orient Express. I think that was one of the more famous books, so they should. :3

I feel like I've heard of that one before... what are the other books called, if you remember?

I'm reading The Hard Way. Not too far into it but I think I already like Reacher. Cops are always such anti-heroes these days. x3 At least the good ones. (Hope you like it! I'm making it up as we go along, no huge plans really. x3 Should be fun to just let it go where it will naturally.)

x3 Yeah, she's my favorite and first here, so she and her story have grown and developed as my writing has grown and developed. I love writing her really strong/distinct personality (which, if you wanted to simplify it, is kinda like a Dr. Cox-ish Jerk With a Heart of Gold kind of persona, caring on the inside about certain things like family/friends/people she can relate to or sympathize with, but her personality is defensive/stand-offish/abrasive and sarcastic and joking, and mostly purposely so to keep up her reputation and keep away most people. (Funny, because people look to her as a mentor too, and she's just as tough on them. x3) She does have trouble sometimes with thinking before she speaks though. Her first thoughts can be pretty brutally honest or crass/brash in humor, which is always fun. xP Like Dr. Cox, she chews out certain people because she actually gives a damn about them, like him with JD. Like when she chews out her mostly oblivious and naive brother-in-law.)

Damien's becoming a second favorite though. :3 He's an unlucky everydude and great because of it. x3 Even unluckier than the everydude sometimes. I wanted him to be funny and relateable, whereas Cadenza is more so like a "I CAN'T believe she said that!" or "damn, that's what I was thinking!" kinda person, more confident and out there when she wants to be and more competent. x3 She's like a Vimes where he's like a Rincewind. xP Only she'd be a law-breaking Vimes. And Damien would be totally freaked out by wizardry.

They should be friends! And meet for lunch at places. But Damien couldn't afford the Ritz and the other kinds of places Crowley and Aziraphale went. xP More like McDonalds.

I just wanted to say, I love how Damien comes across. He's so awkward, he's pretty awesome for that. xD You know, I have a Demon planned. I have a feeling they'd actually be pretty funny together, not unlike Crowley and Aziraphale, haha. That would be amusing xP
