I can't help but read fast, it's a sign of a good book! ^^ I want to read more but when there's none left...I'm a sad panda... .__. Yep, I did that too! xP I actually used to get in trouble a lot as a kid because I would read so much at night. But I think I had some kind of insomnia when I was young so I kept reading anyway. ^^"
Sort of. The original plan was to join the army (infantry) so I could use it as a step up to getting into the police. (The Police are much more inclined to look at someone who's been in the services.) So I'd always wanted to join the army, but I never thought I'd be able to fly because of my eyesight. Then the course, as well as an ex-RAF guy who was a regular in the bar I worked at, changed my mind. The course gave me new info and insights, and the guy told me that they look more at eye CPU (Colour Perception something) than just eyesight. See, with certain plane and helicopter types you can't wear glasses or contacts, but it depends on what you want to pilot. Fighter and jet planes need near perfect vision. Then as you go down the various types (transport, cargo, surveillance, etc) the requirements diminish. But planes require better eyesight than most helicopters. I'm not sure if I'll be able to fly a fighter 'copter but I'd rather go for something like a troop transport. If I can't fly it because of my eyesight, the plan is to look at laser eye surgery, and if that's not viable then I'll try out for a side-gunner or even something in the Air Force instead. I just want to fly 'copters. ^^ As for the course, it could be tough but it was a hell of a lot of fun. I enjoy hiking, though I don't do it a lot - Wales doesn't have much, but it does have mountains and valleys and beautiful scenery. ^^ We never got to do any rafting, but I have been kayaking, which is fun. =3 Have you done/do you do anything like that?
Exactly! Be calm and take things as they come, it's a much better outlook on life.
Yeah. Needles. Bleh. I...really hate needles. Like, a lot. A LOT lot. Bleeeh. If you're a wuss then I am too for sure. I get really nervous at the dentists because they give me so many injections....ouch.

I don't even know if I have any wisdom teeth, ha! xD I know when they took my front tooth out, they had to snap off the tooth part, then go up the gum for the root. It was cracked so they couldn't just pull it out in one go. I remember the blood. A loooot of blood, over a few days. As for my brother, he used to beat me up plenty when we were kids. That, and a fight he started about about a year back, were the only times he tried anything like that since we were a lot younger. He's three years older than me, and was always a lot stronger than me. I was always bookish and a bit of a dork, really, and he did a lot of work with my stepdad (a plumber). But that was another thing my stepdad did, he kinda encouraged my brother to beat on me when we were kids. Hell, at times he made us fight; "toe to toe", he'd call it, and my brother loved it. I think he thought it was all for fun, but I could never fight him. I was too scared. ^^ I always left those with bruises, a bloody nose and split lip, lol. Needless to say I didn't like violence as a kid. ^^"""""
(I haven't watched it on TV in forever, but I used to loooove it. x3 I don't really watch TV anymore, not for quite some time. I never get the chance to watch it since I don't get anything in my room - no aerial for the TV, it's just for games and such. But I used to love programs like Supernatural, which I loved, and comedy shows like Friends, Scrubs, Home Improvement, 8 Simple Rules, etc. Mostly I loved comedies. ^^ What about you?)
Yeah, that makes a lot more sense than just starting a fight for the hell of it. Better to have some kind of plot than senseless fighting, if possible. Yeah, I can't stand magic systems that aren't explained well or don't make sense or something. Chrestomanci!! <3 I need to read those again. Sword fights can be awesome, but I don't know that much about them either. Just what I can imagine, or have watched on TV. I know about hand to hamd combat from when I did karate, but we didn't do much for the sword (not to mention there are sooo many different types of sword fighting, and types of sword, etc.).
Ditto!! I read all the time when I was in primary school. I loved reading, and still do. It's my passion. ^^ I don't remember the first time I tried to write something, though. Probably at around 17 or 18.
