    Thanks man
    By the way, I was just about to PM you...you gotta get over to ZI as soon as possible and post in our thread. I'd like to get that article up this weekend, so we gotta tie up the loose ends and finish it up.

    Thanks for clarifying that. I was going on word-of-mouth about Ganon being called Jaaku no Ou in FSA, so I'm glad you got the accurate title figured out. That works even better than what I thought!

    A few things:

    1) Ganon is called "yami no [ma]ou" or "[demon] king of darkness" in FSA, ALttP, and OoX (in OoX it's what the mindless Ganon calls itself);
    2) "Jaaku no Ou" is only used to refer to Ganon in the SNES ALttP manual, and seems to be a general term rather than a formal title. It does not appear in-game in ALttP. It also means "king of evil," not "king of darkness."

    From this, we can glean:

    1) OoX, FSA, and ALttP Ganon are one and the same, the "yami no maou" of the Trident.
    2) In the ALttP text "jaaku no ou" is used to refer, according to translators, to the Ganon previously known to players to have threatened Hyrule (in LoZ), and yet is simultaneously the one born in the IW (in OoT). This title does not match, however, the "daimaou" title from OoT/TWW/LoZ nor the "yami no maou" title from OoX, FSA, and ALttP. Thus it probably refers to Ganon collectively, not any particular appearance.

    Ah true. I suppose I meant formal titles; "demon beast" has been used to refer to Ganondorf when he transforms into the beast Ganon.

    mmhmm, that is pretty awesome
    However, I disagree ever so slightly with you on TP. His title has no direct connection, and no timeline indicator, but I think it has significance. He's called "Demon Beast" which is a title only used elsewhere in FSA. So while I see no timeline indicator, I see a FSA Dark World=Twilight connection.

    Hooha, all of Ganon's titles are now in our hands.
    Tracing the timeline purely with those titles, it seems LoZ/OoX must have closer proximity to OoT than ALttP/FSA, and that TP has no real connections to anything. =D
