Maybe you read Brina's thread about how she was wanting to come out to her parents, but she and other people like her have really made me understand more of myself and the world around me and how I feel like a clash of both male and female, so, since I'm eighteen and going off to college and I no longer feel pressure from my dumb dad to act and dress a certain way (even I'm still living with him), I'd lovelovelove to look androgynous and have talked about it a lot, though I worry that I be talking about it too much.
I was never raised on Bowie. It took me until recently to sit down and listen to him. I have only one album of his on my computer, which is
Low, but I really like that album. Thing is, I only have albums on my computer because I prefer to have the entire package with music, and I junk crummy albums.
It took me until I was sixteen to watch Spirited Away and other Miyazaki films, but I do love them. Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, ad Princess Mononoke are my favorite. My Neighbor Totoro was really awesome and adorable, and Princess Mononoke made me realize how truly crummy the film Avatar was haha.
If you ever watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I'd suggest watching the episode
Read It and Weep first. It is my favorite of the single-part episodes (as in, each one-part episode is roughly twenty-two minutes), and I've only received positive responses from showing it to those who hadn't gotten into the series. Maybe you'll like the series if you give it a try. The first two episodes are kind of meh, but it gets good on the third episode and onward. Season two ended recently, and the finale. Was. Awesome. And if you can't get into it, then that's fine as well. :]
