Haha, oh god I hope that doesn't happen (sorry Australians, the burden must always be on you). My opinion true relationships don't start out until you have a place of your own. I feel like a lot of teenagers (boys and girls) try to place of their own/with roommates. With financial independence the relationship can really be about the emotional aspect. I didn't get my first girlfriend until I was 17 (high school puppy love). A little late, sure, but everybody goes at their own pace. I've had more (and better) relationships since then, and I can honestly say that with independence, real relationships get better and more exciting. You're not tied down by much, and you're able to do more on your own.

Hehe thanks for the compliment (but I'm sorry you can't have them, my grandfather gave them to me). I've been thinking about making an updated album, I just don't have many picsto begin with.

Just watch the Americans get Zelda Wii last, haha.

Yeah, I want to be thin because I want to be. I was thinner in when I was younger, but now that I'm older, a lot of weight has been put on that I need to work off. Working off the weight will make me feel better about my appearance.
I'm a shy teenager too. The only actual boyfriend I've had in my life was probably when I was about 7 or 8, and you can say that isn't a real relationship since I was so young and didn't really know what was going on.
Thank you though. I've seen pictures of you around (your eyes are amazing, I must have them) and you're attractive. (:

I suppose they wanted it to be more fair for the rest of the world. Ok, true it was made in Japan, but when it comes to previous games most games were released in the U.S. second and then the U.K. third (while Australia got it last). For tMC the UK got it second, then the U.S got it third. I suppose Nintendo is just throwing the U.S. a bone for being the first to get it's release. I don't know why exactly, but they did it nonetheless.

I'm looking at your album and I can't find a pic of you that isn't engulfed in a flash of light. Don't try to be thin "like the other girls". Be thin because you want to be. Have a healthy body by having a healthy mind: Don't let the other girls influence the way you think you should look like. I know that's easier said than done (not to be sexist, but especially for girls), but really try. If I was 15/16 again I'd be tongue tied if I was around you (and just imagine getting shot down by you, so I wouldn't even try to talk...I was somewhat of a shy teenager). You're prettier than you might think. Take a guy's word for it.

I actually still wonder why Japan got ST last instead of first. It's weird. They always get games first. Ah well, they have it now.

My arms really need to be toned, that's why I'm lifting weights. I'll never be thin like other girls because of my height, but I'd like to make my legs thinner and same with my stomach. Thank you for the compliment, by the way.

Yeah those Japanese people. They invent innovative cars, TVs, computers, and cellphones (no joke, I've heard that the best of the best cellphones come from there. They are always 8-12 months ahead of the rest of the world). So toilets are an easy transition for them

Lift weights only if you want to gain mass (on strengthen certain part of your body like your arms). According to your profile pic, you have a really pretty face. I honestly wouldn't think you'd want to lose any weight. You look fine to me.

Yeah, I'm starting to do exercises in the morning & evening after eating to work off the calories the best I can. Sit-ups, lifting weights, stuff like that. My mom said she'll go jogging with me when the snow starts to melt, which is excellent.

Is it me, or did 2009 go by REALLY fast? For me it did. It's crazy. We're already in the 5th day of 2010. Wow.

Those Japanese people always have an answer for everything. They invent the weirdest things and they always seem to work.

Hmmm I can probably help you out on your resolution: Instead of relying on the internet for all your basic communication and information needs, try using older sources (like the library). Really try to limit yourself to how many hours a day you spend watching TV and being online. I'm sure you can IM or TXT 10 friends at the same time, but sometimes it's best to just talk on the phone. This will make you a little more social. If you already do this, then try to socialize with your friends at the mall or whatever outside, instead of trying to socialize with people online...like me

I constantly remind myself "Damn, instead of spending X amount of hours in front of the TV/comp, I could have been doing crunches and gotten 6 pack abs by now". Well maybe not a 6 pack, but there are a whole lot of better things I could be doing. If you own an MP3, how about every time you listen to it, you go on a walk.

I suppose that's what it really burns down to: Spending our time wisely. A year really goes by so fast, it's ridiculous.

Oh and speaking of technology: I like it that with technology we're using less and less paper (e-mails instead of letters, tablets instead of drawing paper, answering machines instead of notepads, etc...) however we really need to find some sort of substitute for toilet paper It's gross but true. The Japanese have invented a pressurized water and blow drying toilet, but I just don't know how popular that will become.

That's a good idea for a commercial. Better than I could come up, for sure.

I agree with you, actually. Computers, TVs, cellphones and other things are taking over kids lives. They're taking over mine, and I admit it. I barely get any exercise since I'm usually always on the computer or watching TV. I've made a new year's resolution to lose weight and get out more often. It's kinda hard to get out with friends this time of year due to the cold temperature and snow everywhere, but I try.

Too true. If you've seen the movie "i, Robot" maybe (just maybe like in 20 years) they could try and invent cars that hover above the ground just as much as any old regular tire does. But if you're thinking about hovering/flying cars like the Jetsons, then don't count on it.

I've even imagined how the first Self-driven (optional of course) car commercial would look like:

An old man is seen on the passenger side, and his handsome 30-something year old son is driving on the highway.
Father: "I remember a time, when we didn't have things we have today..."
    Son: "I know, dad"
Father: "Cellphones, e-mail, ...even driving was more difficult. But not anymore".
Son: "That's right dad" *He winks at his father* "Not anymore".
*Son clicks on a button and utters the phrase "Auto-Pilot Engage"*
*The father and son swivel their chairs 180 degrees around to face the passengers: The wife and two kids. You see the wife typing on a laptop, son on a handheld gaming device, daughter watching a movie from an overhead screen. The son starts texting on his latest blackberry (which is illegal in some states, now it won't be a problem now that you're hands free), and the father just sits back and smiles at the calmness of the situation*
The camera pans outside of the car as we watch it zoom towards the horizon on a highway with many similar looking cars.

I know you were asking for a laptop and an iPhone, however, I find it that even kids' brains nowadays are overstimulated with incoming information. It seems like they can't stay off of a screen or keep out of contact for too long. Even look at the commercial I just layed out. Everybody in the car was being hypnotized by some sort of device. When I was young, all we had was TVs, gameboys, and computers (for work, and this was before the internet became popular). Nowadays I currently use a TV, DSi, comupter, and a regular cellphone (you saw the Triforce DS pics, that's the quality pics I can take). You can call people, txt, and send pics. That's pretty much it.

I'm just thinking how much worse it's going to be for the next generation of kids. Their attention spans are going to be so much worse.

That's true. Whatever Nintendo thinks of, it'll sell like crazy. Even if it's the most insane thing invented, they'll get even more rich over it.

Ah, I know. Self-driven cars does sound pretty cool, too. Good thing car companies do test it over and over again - you don't wanna have your car doors to fall off or the engine to break down when you're in the middle of nowhere.

Hmmm good point. 10 years ago Majora's Mask just came out on the N64, and now we can simply download it on a console. With that sort of thinking, in the next 10 years we will surely be able to download GC and Wii games on the latest system. I just hope (for the sake of the current Wii owners) that people will be able to transfer their purchased downloaded games from the Wii onto newer consoles. I don't own a Wii at the moment, and if I did, I'd think twice before selling my Wii if Nintendo didn't let me transfer all the well earned money I invested into their old system. As we know, Nintendo hasn't been that great when it comes to backwards capabilities (well, at least on their home consoles. Wii was the first, and the Gameboy series have been doing a pretty good job), so hopefully they'll carry on the Wii's tradition of not forgetting the previously purchased games.

Don't hold your breath on the hovering cars. Although they have been working on it (also making an aerial highway system) for a little bit, I think we're more likely of seeing a self-driven car than anything else in our lifetime. You know how car companies are, they have to test, and retest, and retest everything until it's "perfect".

Nah, I don't mind if you friend me.

I suppose Nintendo's thinking of putting their games on the consoles instead of you having to go out and buy them, but who knows what they're thinking of next. Who knew we'd be getting something like the Wii when we think back to 10 years ago?

Technology is advancing extremely fast. We could even have hovering cars in the next few years, but that's highly unlikely.

Hey, do you mind if I send you a friend request? :3

Well that's exactly what they are doing when it comes to WiiWare games (like NES, SNES, N64 games...other than Ram and disk space, what's stopping them from selling good quality Wii exclusive games like Mario Galaxy as a downloadable?), DSiWare games (like Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis), X-box Arcade, and the PlayStation Network? They all have downloadable games and content.

I suppose the future of gaming consoles are going to be an all out entertainment system. Not only could you use it like a computer to go chat online or order streaming movies on Netflix, you also have to make it into a DVD/Blueray player.

Right now the PS3 is backwards compatible. I say there will come a time when digitized downloadable games are the thing to do (like the PSP Go) and the PS4 or 5 will just no longer have a disk slot for one to use.

Hmm... Well, you never know. We're gradually advancing our technology, so who knows what's to come even 5 years from now. I wouldn't be surprised if game companies just sold the systems and told us to go online and buy the games (while on the system).

Yeah I know, I have two sisters and a mom. They are all into making themselves look prettier. Although it may be law, your parents could still practice with you on deserted parking lots and back roads (it would still be illegal however, at least you'd have more experience than the rest of you Driver's Ed class).

If laptops are your thing, my sister recently purchased a $400 Toshiba Satellite laptop. It's pretty good (very light weight). Speaking of which, what do you think about video game disks and DVDs in this day in age? With the PSPGo, Comcast OnDemand, and Netflix Online, do you think that games and movies will no longer be on hardware disks? Let's say in the next 10 years? I was reading an article about it, and the only thing that's stopping gaming systems to have 100% digitized games is simply because of the re-sell value. If you walk into any GameStop store the majority of their goods are USED and/or DISCOUNTED. Unless there are some online coupons you could use/find, and if the company lowers the price of their games after some time (like a normal gaming store does) then it may be a success.

Yeah, a laptop and iPod Touch may be asking for a lot (even if the economy was great), that's just my opinion. The thing about buying technology gifts is the fact that in 8 months time there will already be something even better out on the market (Nintendo already found a better micro-chip to run for the DSi, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a new DSi in the near future...not including that XXL one).

The same happened to my family. Nothing really expensive. Probably the most expensive gift received in my household was some perfume. I honestly didn't get anything I asked for, because I asked my family to give me nothing (and yet they still gave...I just wished the holiday was solely about giving towards others that absolutely need things). I got socks, a gift card, more socks, chocolate, another gift card, AXE body wash, cash, and even more socks *points at own Custom Rank* With the cash I bought a winter mask and a DVD of the movie Hero (good movie).

As for New Year's Eve, I'd say Christmas was more exciting (well we have a big Christmas Eve dinner, and then have a nice breakfast for Christmas morning). We ate, we chatted, and we had a bottle of champagne for midnight. Everybody in my family (except for me) took a nap sometime throughout the evening before midnight came strolling around. It seems like everybody didn't have enough energy to truly stay up.
