Ahhh I see. It's no biggie.
You'll like Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It's about a boy that dates this girl, but before he can officially start dating her, he has to defeat her evil seven exes (as if they were bosses in a video game

). It is rated PG-13.
The first chapter of Game of Thrones (which is the first book of the A Song of Ice & Fire series) is about these men waaaay up north trying to find a lost friend, and they come across "the white walkers" whom are like these Ice Zombies.
As for The Name of the Wind, that series is about a boy who tries to learn magic at a University. The magic in the book isn't like Harry Potter magic, it's more like voodoo than anything else. If you want an example, it's like this:
Imagine if I had a matchstick and a tree. Since the matchstick is primarily made out of wood, I could mentally link the matchstick to the tree. So when I light the matchstick on fire, the tree will also burst in flames. However if I wanted to put the fire out on the tree, I would need to dunk the matchstick in a large container of water.
