and thankfully the heat's dying down here, it was really hot in the first two weeks of summer, but now it's cooling down.

Umm, let's see.....Chocolate Chip! *hands cookie* Lol. Hmm, and I'm a pretty cliched reader myself. Besides Of Mice and Men of course, I'd recommend Perks of Being a Wall Flower, Haunted (by Chuck Palahaniuk), The Great Gatsby, and Into The Wild. And yeah I'm sure when I'm pretty satisfied with how it's starting out, I'd be glad to lend you a few pages to look over.
And today's actually been really great! I met a girl at work today that noticed my Zelda tattoo and we ended up chatting for awhile at a coffee shop after I got off.; I even mustered up the courage to ask her out to dinner and she said yes, so yeah, all in all I'm pretty good. Lol.

They're the equivalent of high school courses I guess. I pick my college courses in two years, but I think in America that's still the last two years of Highschool (11th and 12th grade?). College and University are like two completely different things here so it's hard to get your head round, even for me XD

And yeah, it's the same as allergies. I forget that there's subtle differences in British and American English

Well you certainly earned yourself a cookie! Yeah, I'm quite the avid reader myself, my bookshelf is currently full to the brim with all sorts of books I've come across. My favorite author has to be Steinbeck, I could re-read Of Mice and Men countless times. And I wouldn't necessarily say you need to get out more, those of us who are attached to the things we love are rare these days! I've named all of my 8 or 9 cameras, and all of my major gaming consoles. Lol. Also, I'm working on sort of a fantasy epic, mostly inspired by Zelda and the multitudes of other nerdy obsessions I have. Lol. And if I do ever post some fan fiction, I'll be sure to let you know!

I take english, maths, chem, bio, physics, history, spanish, statistics, german and religious studies for one more year and then I pick four of them to take for two more years which is then actual college here. Then I'm off to uni! I have no idea what I'm going to do though...
