It was mostly just me taking the time to subtly insult a party which I don't like. My question must have done something, however, since they lost horribly in both of the ridings in my area.

Today can be summed up thusly: post Cumberbatch depression and the awkward moment when it's easier to find the moral message behind "Raisin in the Sun" than it was to find the moral message behind something you are writing yourself. And also Doctor Who depression.

At least last night I got to see the new Star Trek film

Kinda dull. I've been hanging around home, looking up video game stuff and book stuff and university stuff.

I made the local newspaper by being opinionated! They took a picture of me asking politicians a question and paraphrased me.

I have my L, so technically I can drive, but my first time behind the wheel went poorly so I don't want to drive either.

But, if I get the job I'm going for it would mean going back and forth from home to mine/oil-patch/pipeline/whatever.

That's okay. I haven't been on much anyway.

Now, switching gears to Dyeus (my relatively new sci fi story)

Molly K, an earthborn trades woman who was deserted on Dyeus when the relief crew she worked with crashed there. A runaway who uses blatantly fake aliases (Molly K being short for Mjolnir Khan). Earns her way by selling first aid and working small jobs.
"Grow up. Grow a pair. You're not in Kansas anymore, buddy."

Tall and Small are a pair of brothers who raise cattle at the Ranch. Small is about ten, energetic, confident and talkative. His brother is closer to twenty, and less talkative and more suspicious. They trade supplies by scaving junk and selling meat. The first people Mol met on the planet.
    "Git on, kiddo."

Trapper, a member of the Blackfyre merc company. Finds Dyeus to be disorienting, since the decaying colony hasn't seen any of the new tech development the rest of the world is using and enjoying. Also finds it disorienting because he crash-landed there. Analytical but warm, and swears he recognizes Mol from somewhere.
"You take your time seriously, you listen to your boss reverently you do your work well and yet, you still get screwed in the end."
"Whoa, I thought you were a merc, not a business guy."
    "♥♥♥♥ off."

And finally, ADVIIJUDASEDOL01, a Combat Android more commonly known on Dyeus as Judas. Instead of putting him offline, the Cloud virus severely damaged his psyche, making him into the sadistic, charismatic, Messiah-syndrome suffering warlord he is recognized as today. To top it off, being the Prototype Eidolon, he can change his features like a normal person can change their expression.
"Awaken, children of the earth. See the corruption of the sky and water! See the death, the bloodshed! You know only suffering, but it can be better. It can, and it will."

Well, about half of them are only saved onto pages or Omm.
I can sum some of them up:
Benjamin, swaggering, quick witted and more or less immoral. Born into a rich family and fond of the good life, fate found him as a crime boss. Lives to serve himself. Epynomous phantom of Phantom.
“Ah, rumors. As I’ve already said, they are always abound. What sort of rumors?”

Tyne, a member of the Quiet Ones, Prince Xavier's personal guard and closest friend. Quiet, serious and devout to the crown. Formerly best locksmith and thief in the city, it was the Prince's idea to make him into a well paid guard. All he has to do is wear a mask.
"All I am is a man wearing a mask who follows orders. I do not lead without permission. I do not act without consent."

Nahri, a compulsive liar who was trained in the art of espionage and assassination from the age of six. Taught to assume the worst about people and to trust no one, especially not her emotions. From the volcanic Northern Islands.
"I have done things like this and worse. I do not regret my actions."

Prince Xavier, future king of Masrtan. Realistic and smooth, he values the lives of his people and is quite a pacifist but accepts the necessity of war. He often quarrels with his father but still loves him dearly.
"The only place where we'll win is on the sea. The Admiral is already sending his ships to strangle the Empire. But we'll be defeated on the ground. Just make sure that we don't lose too badly."

Katja, a cheerful ice mage with a hunger for power. A bit of a know it all and an excellent tree climber. Aside from her own ability with ice she knows a few common and forbidden spells. Her goal is to find the ruins of Templehaven, the famous magic temple in the mountains between Masrtan and Dagan.
"As you can tell by my lovely accent, I'm Dagani. Scholar. Curious about the mountains, you know."

There's more, but I'm tired and want to sleep

yah, I know humans are a bunch of diks. but they weren't always like that I'm sure. sure bad nature is a part of human nature. but suspicion, dis trust, disloyalty, desperation, greed, so meny things that cause and even form so meny of the bad things we have today, they developed throughout our history. if I could change history for the better, would the world not also become a better place? naturally I think it would of corse. but it's possible that other things could then happen to make it worse. but I think I really can make things better if I were given the chance.

though yes, as for the under estimating of bad natures, I've also taken such things well into consideration and come up with so meny different angles from which these things may interfear. and also developed plans agains them.

nothing is perfect. no one is perfect. nothing we can do think or say is perfect. and therefor now plan is perfect nor compleat. but I think that if I'm doing the very best I can, the likelyness of it failling would be rather quite low. if much at all. that is despite the fact that really anything can happen and even a "fool proof plan" can fall through. but if given the chance I think I'd atleast do pretty dam good.

anyways, I'm afraid I'm not actually all the familliar with all your characters. and I have gone through RPs or read them or stories in some time.

You underestimate human nature. The fact that people can and will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s. The fact that we like having lots of shiny and expensive stuff. It makes us feel better about our inadequacies.

Whelp, enough of this but on to something similar, because I hate the fighting vibe I'm getting from this.
In socials we had a real backwards discussion on the Treaty of Versallies, backwards in that we went all the way back to when Canada was traded from the French to the British, so he could give us another few instances of treaties.

Anyway, it got me to thinking about Savage and Phantom and "Tyne." I figured, that if I could get the gist of what I wanted from Savage for the first three quarters of a war, I can have Phantom have a bit more action to it. Besides the stuff Benjamin goes through with keeping his head (which, while being nicely written, was kind of dull), why not spice it up with Lastead, Dagan's colony, being taken over and choked by Masrtan? That would be nice.

Finally, what I had planned for Tyne will stay the same because it is about trying to prevent a revolution, which sparks up more revolts in other places.

and who says the goverment gets more food? in my kingdom, everything will be as fair as can be. money is the root of atleast half the evil in our world. evil, greed, corruption. I don't want any of it. fair exchange. that's what I want.

sure the farmer works, and so gets a home, barn, tools, greater knowlage of farming than would normally be availible in that time period, and he's not doing it all alone either, in exchange for the food he grows. and then there's a guy in the kingdom not working in a job yet also getting food shelter and other things he needs.

but when people started farming. do you think each person farmed only for themselves? and they didn't have money in the start of civilizations, and civilizations didn't really start up untill farming became an alternative to hunting which menyt constantly traveling around to fallow animal migrations and such.

they farms because it was food and they needed it, and without it they would starve to death or risk starving if thier food supply AKA the animals they hunted either ran out or they could no longer be found.
and they of corse did not just farm for themselves, because they needed others to. though it could be possible for them to servive alone, they would most likely die alone haveing had no children, and humans are programmed to mate and have children for the sake of servival and continuing of human existance. not simply cause we like it. they really didn't think much about just themselfs, they were too busy needing to servive.

if the kingdom doesn't have food, the kingdom doesn't servive. if the kingdom doesn't servive, it falls apart. the kingdom is the collection of all these meny people comeing together and working with each other to servive and attempt to live plesant lives once the constant worry about servival is taken care of.

so if the kingdom, this collection of people working together is no more, that means these people are no longer working together helping each other servive, and are likely scatterd about alone or in much smaller groups, where life is sure to be harder. not to mention constant threat of the area being invaded by kingdoms and take overs, the mercilouse slaughtering of thousands of innocent and helplessly deffenceless people because they have no army to deffend them which a kingdom would provide.

and history shows, that life was usually not the most plesant in kingdoms in the middle ages. I have already said that such would not be so in my kingdom. so I doubt the people of my kingdom would really want to have to go live in other kingdoms where things were even at best horribly unfair and by far worse than even the worst thing you could find in my kingdom. I'm talking about corrupt kingdom goverments soilders churches torcher theivery poverty and such.

compared to that I think farmer joe would be pretty dam happy with the way things would be for him in my kingdom. because I haven't even mentiond that no money means that there are no half a million dollar medical bills. sure medicine would take a long time to really develop, and I do not know that much of medicine. but a couple good books and a history lesson in that area could easly fix that before I go back in time.
and with time medicine will develop. plus alot of things we know as basic knowlage know would far improve health conditions then. aka regular bathing and washing of hands and tools avoiding the spreading of germs as it was then ect.

greater development of technology, culture, science, math, pure uncorrupt churches. and a few different churches to support the practice of different religons. my kingdom would support to practice of all religons that do not lead to the harming of other human beings. as long as it doesn't mean harming others, and they are willing to live in peace with us, we will be more than willing to live in peace with them.

I will build this kingdom on pure and peacefull ideals while at the same time excepting the existance of different ideas opinions and ideals. everyone is allowed to do think and feel as they please as long as it doesn't harm others or the kingdom.

and as much as the ideals of me and the kingdom will be on peace and not harming others, what in the event of attack by another kingom? well again, we'll be rather advanced and have a good number of allies. so first of all anyone who wishes to attack us must be absolutly insane. and two I will also share with my people my philosphy that:
"though the harming of others is ALWAYS wrong, if some one should wish to harm me or others, I will do what is needed to protect both myself and those who cannot protect hemselves. if that inevitably means causeing harm to the one who would harm us, well then I would rather bring harm to that one, (though as little as possible) to prevent much more and much greater harm that one would bring to meny others."

and what in the case of a full scale war you may ask. well, as much as I would preffer to avoid hurting other people, and would be almost compleatly against killing, I would rather kill an army of people who would attack a peaceful kingdom and its peoples, especially when its without so much as any provocation, than to let that army invade such a peacefull kingdom and kill thousands of inosent people to simply avoid killing people myself.
and though it would not be me on the front lines, I do hold the ideal that if killing someone absolutly must be killed, (though I cannot imagine any situation for that other than war) and although I am against the killing of other human beings and would never want to have to kill another person, I would much rather do it myself dirtying my own hands and condemming (possibly) only myself to hell, rather than forcing another do do my dirty work (and because despite it being by my orders. they, having a choice, could still refuse) there by putting them to such a fate for because I made them do what I myself would not.

there would of corse be a punishment for bad people. and I would introduce the (now held) idea (also well before it's time) that the punishment should fit the crime. I'm not gunna have someone beheaded for eating my tarts. XD

there would be a strong, well gaurded prison, where only the worse would be held. and the length would depend on the crime. so basically the justice sytem would be similar to the one we currently have. but it would not be so over complicated. you would not need to know super lawyer speak and such. trails would be fair. and the worst offenders would be put away for life.
they would be given deacent food, cloths, and would not be treated horribly, or plesantly. but without the use of money, it would also not cost anything to keep them there . sure thay'd be useing food and water someone else could have, but I'd do what I can to make sure everyone in the kingdom has what they need. so, we'd not kill those people, they would be able to live the rest of thier lives, and die naturally when the time comes. but they would not be able to harm any one else. so pretty much we'd send people there as a possible punishment for thier actions, though there would also be other options of corse. and if it was nessesary to give them punishment of a higher level they would of corse be kept there for longer amounts of time.

it obviousely would NOT be a great place to be, though not totally horible either. because again they are humans so we're not gunna treat them horribly. though I wouldn't want animals to be treated horribly either despite the fact that we eat some of them.I want respect to all liveing creatures again despite that we eat some of them.
but yah the prisons would not be a fun place to be. it would deffinetly be a place no one would WANT to be, and would wish they were not in if they were there. and though they'd have food drink and a place to sleep and such, I again would make sure everyone in the kingdom has what they need and such, so it's not like people in there could go "well atleast I don't have to worry about my next meal, and where I'm gunna sleep tonight" you know?

I'm telling you, just about ( yes just about, I like to avoid deffinet statements when I can and absolutes to. and I don't assume to know or be able to think of everything. humans are imperfect and we make mistakes and miss things. that much is deffinetly true. ) so just about anything you can come up with I have likely already thought of and planned for.

But that's exact reason why communism failed. Joe the farmer realized even though he's grinding out a thousand bushels of wheat, his wife is waiting in the same line for a loaf of bread as Bob, even though Bob only sends out a 100 bushels to the government. Joe says, "♥♥♥♥ this," and throws down his pitchfork. He knows he might go hungry (if he holds back he'll get shot (but seriously, he already is anyway.)), but other people will too. Including the government, who's eating more bread than anyone.

Now, to a system with money. Joe works his ass off because he knows that if he sells enough bushels and makes $50 000 or more, he can take the wife and kids on vacation in their shiny new truck, which he had bought last year with his previous harvest.

Bob sees that and says, "Holy ♥♥♥♥." Then he works hard, dreaming about the trip to Japan he always wanted to go on. More crops are produced. More people are getting fed.

And on leaving the kingdom? Joe might not be the only dissenter. Their might be Mike, who builds things like walls and houses, and Emma the black smith, who can forge weapons. They might find other tribes and start their own society.

ANYWAY. To even get rid of money from the system you have to go way back to Mesopotamia.

I kinda feel like an ass but one of my special talents is seeing the holes in people's plans.
