I truly didn't think it could happen in Oklahoma, either.

It didn't snow anywhere near that much where I live. Although it snowed plenty in the storms before, that storm brought like 6 inches in my area.

Same here. Although this last winter we broke the record of the most snow ever seen in a winter where I lived. One location saw like 30 inches of snow in one storm. And then that night we broke the record low and it got down to -30 degrees just a little further North of where I live.

2011 has been the strangest year in weather I have ever seen.

Yeah, it is November, it's supposed to be not so warm. It's actually pretty cool being in the upper 60s (that's really cool compared to a few months ago where everyday was in the 100s) but it's just warm enough to allow severe storms.

I wish it would snow instead. xD

I'm glad! Some people find birthdays depressing...I don't really get why. I mean, I know that people who are getting on in years a bit feel depressed over the age thing, and, not that I'd feel that way, but I sorta get it... But, yes...I'M GLAD THAT YOU'RE BIRTHDAY WAS GOOD! ^__^

If you haven't noticed (hopefully you have, hahahaha), I haven't been on ZU quite as regularly as I usually am. I've just been SO busy, it's killer... :p

It wasn't, but it is really creeping me out. I was listening to music and not really paying attention to anything, but then my bird started freaking out and I noticed that the trash can in the hallway was tilted sideways (over something else keeping it from falling on its side). That's when I sat still and realized that everything was shaking.

There are severe storms around so I thought that maybe thunder had upset my bird, but there was an earthquake. It really wasn't bad, but seriously... This is freaking me out.

We're also under a Tornado Watch. Tornadoes have touched down in Southwest Oklahoma.

I am scared to live here anymore... T_T

It is really annoying to not be able to feel them! But as I said in my post earlier I don't want to actually wish for them to happen. Houses where I live are not built for such things (you'd think that they would be since we have tornadoes).

The funny thing about the one on the East coast was that me, living where I am where we never get earthquakes, was getting ready to go take a shower and I decided to go put the drink I was drinking in the fridge. There was only an unstable place to put it and I was like "I better find somewhere stable just in case there is an earthquake!". The East coast earthquake happened while I was in the shower. o_O

That sounds like a fun birthday. Me, I'm going out with my dad and some friends to Fuddrucker's tonight--which will be nice because I go there so rarely.

After that, a couple of us are going back to my house for some Mario Kart.

It drives me crazy that I didn't get to feel it! I did feel something in the car, but it was most likely just the wind's movement when driving past another car. Although it didn't happen when driving past any other cars and I remember it, and they say earthquakes feel like a wave going through the ground. So maybe... Or maybe I'm just crazy. =P
