I like the old country that you can hear in Fallout New Vegas.

I used to be super duper picky with music. I'm not sure what changed my mind, but I'm glad it did.

Really old school country is tolerable. Like Merle Haggard and the like, but overall. bleagh. Even though i have a wide range of tastes, im rather...picky.

I have a few of his cds. I also bought a record of his, but I don't even have a way of listening to it. x3

Some country is alright, but I only say that because I'm so used to hearing it. Like, I would never listen to it on my own time but I suppose I don't mind hearing it while I'm at my grandparents' house. I just grew up associating it with them. *shrug*

Yep. Have been since my middle school days. Although I haven't been listening to them much lately.

All of my metal cds have been neglected for Frank Sinatra and jazz. I have a pretty diverse taste in music.

You are a Dimmu Borgir fan? I was until Vortex left. (sadface)
I didnt really start going to shows until i hit my 20s. Then all bets were off. I usually go to Industrial music shows nowadays.

Yeeesh. One band gets banned from playing in your state, and youre left with the other rejects? Awww you poor thing. (Avenged Sevenfold...no offense..but PEEEEYEWWW!) I guess im pretty fortunate to be near cities were good bands come and play. Sacramento isnt terribly far either. SF is infinitely better though. EVERYONE comes there. Its like "AAWWWWW YISSSS"

Motley Crue has been here once, but only because their ban from the city was finally lifted. I didn't go to that show though.

Avenged Sevenfold came down here not too long ago. That was a pretty fun concert!

But yeah, it's not popular at all. -_-

That's awesome! I've actually never listened to much Testament before. I only have one of their cds.
I hope I can meet some awesome musicians one day, but I'd have to get out of my hometown first.

It's rare that anyone comes here to perform.

I heard Kenny was huge into muscle cars and bikes. (like hogs and choppers.) Apparently the former drummer of Type O, Sal Abruscato has a chopper shop or something and became a semi-hangout for some of the members. (Kenny)

Ive met quite a few musicians. One that actually nearly made me crap myself was Chuck Billy from Testament. I was working a tshirt booth at this metal event (benefit show for charity) All the sudden, i see Chuck Billy all kickin it and people just swarming around him. I look up and im all "OMMGHGGH HNNNNGH!" and run over there and go "omg omg omg hai! Big fan since i was a wee one! Suuuuup!" and hes like " Hai there! Omg where did you get that Testament patch?" (i was wearing my friend's denim thrash metal jacket) and im all "its not mine but im not sure where she got it!" He was all "wow thats...i havent seen that in like 20 years! thats old school!" and he signed it...right on the jacket. My friend who wasnt there at the time, was thrilled.

I think Kenny actually kept in touch with my mom for a little bit. He thought it was cool that she likes muscle cars.

The only famous person I've met is Dave Mustaine. He barely said a word to me, but I got his autograph.

    And I know what you mean with the songs thing. ;-;

I never met him sadly. You wouldnt believe such a large guy was such a goddamn ninja! Ive met like, all the other members of the band but him. Josh (the keyboardist) was just walking down the street to enter the venue and im all "Hey mang! suuuuuup!" he stopped and said "yo! whats up!!" He was in a hurry though. The guitarist Kenny is...interesting...and a bit shouty! But he seemed really nice. I met Johnny the drummer at a Seventh Void (at the time, a side-project) show. He was awesome! Real friendly. In fact, id peg him as the "sanest" member. But no Pete sadly. He was a pretty big influential force with me. The things that man did with a bass guitar....woooow. Plus his voice. hnnngh.

I try not to get bummed when listening to them now but its kinda hard. Especially with certain songs.

Awh, that happened on your birthday? Now that I think about it, it was just a couple days after mine. I was pretty upset when he passed away. :<

My mom kinda lost it too. And I think it was also hard on her because she had met him in the early 2000s and had just missed a chance to go to another one of their shows.
